Religion.

As a Catholic I support some of Bush's ideas. However, I do not believe Bush really understands Christ. Mr. Bush , a person who proclaims his faith to Jesus, yet supports efforts of war, deception, and disregard to the poor, elderly, and sick in the USA is NOT the person who walks in accord with Christ. Mr. Bush is not the compassionate conservative America yearns for. Mr.Bush fails to realize that his once strong political tool, religion, has been weaken by his actions over the last 4 years.

Americans will be heard in todays election and brighter future will be upon us November 3rd. 2004. It is time for compassion and understadning to come forth from the White House. It is time for change.

John F. Kerry is our man to lead us all to that better future.

Bush's ideas - what like anti-gay marriage, anti-stem cell research, and anti-abortion?? I cant believe anyone in the western world can be 'anti' any of these things - why does George Bush give a if a 14 year old girl has an abortion, or whether two gay people get married? How dare he even try to get involved in such personal decisions. He makes me sick, and his influence on the rest of the world makes me feel sick. At least Kerry has a brain, and won't embarrass the USA.

Exactly. The reason why so many people are anti-liberal are because of their religious beliefs. I'm not religious myself, and I would never vote for a canidate who uses his religion to make political decisions. Unfortunately people think that it is important for leaders to make faith-based decisions because that is the way they lead their life. Too bad some of them don't realize that there are other people in this country who don't share their religious beliefs and would rather have leaders use logic in making decisions.

I also hate the fact that some conservatives use "liberal" as a dirty word when campaigning. For example, there is a Republican running for Congress here in Virginia and he has a TV ad attacking his opponent. The ad says "Liberal Al Weed supports civil unions for same sex couples...no wonder he is running a dishonest campaign." It's pretty disturbing.
Radagast
That can't be as bad as the slogan of attack ad I see on TV here:

"Jim Costa, he's already cost ya"

Right...

I dont beleive in Gay Marriage. This is just silly sh!t for me. In my faith this is wrong. I say 'Have fun being gay but dont try change a religious faith to support what you do'. I think gays should have civic rights but I dont think they have the authority to change the religious act of marriage.

But I am not so crazy about the issue that I would vote for Bush because he's anti-gay marriage. I think issues reguarding the economy and foriegn policy are more important to me at this time.

I am in favor of all scietific research. I beleive stem cell research is excellent and can help find cures to many illnesses.

I beleive abortion should be a last resort. I think adoption or orfanages should be a 1st choice. I think abortion should only be used in serious cases ( i.e. rape, health to mother, etc) I beleive people should be free to choose but the president should encourage a moral agenda. I am Catholic I dont encourage or think its right to end life before it has the chance to begin.
Again this issue isnt of prime importance to me given the divergence in economic and forgien policy of Bush and Kerry.

Vote Kerry
