I think gays should have civic rights but I dont think they have the authority to change the religious act of marriage.

But I am not so crazy about the issue that I would vote for Bush because he's anti-gay marriage. I think issues reguarding the economy and foriegn policy are more important to me at this time.

I am in favor of all scietific research. I beleive stem cell research is excellent and can help find cures to many illnesses.

I beleive abortion should be a last resort. I think adoption or orfanages should be a 1st choice. I think abortion should only be used in serious cases ( i.e. rape, health to mother, etc) I beleive people should be free to choose but the president should encourage a moral agenda. I am Catholic I dont encourage or think its right to end life before it has the chance to begin.
Again this issue isnt of prime importance to me given the divergence in economic and forgien policy of Bush and Kerry.

Vote Kerry

But very few people class marriage nowadays as a religious event - it has become something people want to do because they want to demonstrate their commitment to one another. It's hardly questioning the values of marriage - if Jesus is so loving and forgiving then why cant he accept this?? Bush makes gay people out to be 'sinners' alongside murderers and rapists.

I agree abortion is a serious issue - but surely this again, should be up to the individual and her husband/boyfriend or whoever. It has nothing to do with George Bush, and like is he setting a moral agenda. The man has killed a ridiculous number of people in Iraq for no genuine reason. The man has no morals.

I agree. However, I think we need more intelligent people (like yourself) involved in this debate. The more we understand the better we can make decisions. I do not like how Bush is very closed minded. He has shown not to be wise enough to listen to our very wise friends from across the Atlantic. We can learn a great deal from each other if we listen and debate the issues intelligently. Bush has failed in this regard.

I support a man who respects life, life is the most important thing, if you cant protect the right to live then what can you protect? we complain about the deaths of september 11th where 3,000 died, over 3,000 babies die a day becuase of abortions. Choose life, your parents did.

Im just voicing my opinions with no intentions of debate

america in sucks. This is some bull democracy.

I am moving to Europe.

I cant beleive how stupid all those southern states are. I think I am going to move to Europe.

Isnt funny how New York , the city affected by terrorism directly, voted for Kerry yet those southern states 'scared' of terrorism voted for Bush. What a bunch of idiots.

They voted for moral leadship but Bush is killing people in Iraq. Rural Americans are so in stupid. they are like sheep. tell them you pray and they vote for you.

I cant believe the state most adversely affect by Bush's economic policy ( Ohio) voted to keep him in office. Idiots!!!

I cant believe it either. I blame the Evangelists.

I'm looking on the bright side though - 4 years time, it could very well be Hilary as the next president.

This is a sad day in American politics. But what endows me with greater grief is the large amounts of stupidity that exists in Southern and Rural America.

I am ashamed to be apart of this country. This is truly a dark day for democracy and common sense.

As a result of the inanity of Americans I feel no need to debate or discuss issues of economics, legality, or foreign relations ever again. Until a cultural and educational transformation occur in Southern and Rural America my discussions in these areas are futile.
