Things I Already know about the sample:
-ITS NOT MASTERED
-Sounds are not fullly layered.
-Basically, I just want comments on song structure, and basic conceptual ideas, not on the sounds themselves.
Dont forget, theres also a producers forum, but since the COR is kind of a catch all area, i think this is fine. |

Spaceship: Alot better than I anticipated. The little digital "rapid phone dialish" sound in the background sounds pretty good. Very nice beginning to the bass as well, and I didnt feel hung up on this song. There is a minor scratching sound in the background that could probably be tweaked, but Im not sure how. Maybe it was just my download, but I listened twice and the beats kinda skipped back, like they were being scratched. It did not sound good...either move it somewhere else or remove it. The voice samples were good and blurred enough to where it fit the general tone. Nice start to a track.
Theme 6: Sounds a bit more novice. Needs a bit more balance between sounds. I didnt like the voice sample in this one as much. The pads sound ok, good potential there. Theres a "hollow" sounding effect occuring every once in awhile, starting about halfway through that is cool, but feels like its done too much, too fast, and then not at all after a few times. Breakbeat is ok...needs to be varied ALOT more. Probably the clap needs to be toned down or changed to fit the (heh) tone of the piece.
Sorry, im not a great critic. Be a bit more specific about what you want my opinions on and I might be able to help more. |

sounds pretty good tribu, probably sound awhole lot better when you finsih it, like i said way better than my stuff... i still want that professional sound. don't know what else to say since it isnt finished. hope you give meh some feedback:D |
