Hi my name is Zsombor. I've posted once or twice before but never did the full intro so here it goes. I am from Romania --> New York --> Sarasota Florida. But I'm Hungarian. Anyhow for about 10 years now I've meen listening to trance and all styles of electronic music. My current favorites have Armin Van Buuren at the top, then Markus Shultz, Paul Van Dyk, Paul Oakenfold, Menno De Jong, Manuel Le Saux, Sasha Riker, Niclas Harding, Ayu (mostly the remixes like Appears by A.V.B.)and so on. Really too much to list. I am a big Prodigy fan, Crystal Method, Chemical Brothers etc. etc. I've listened to pretty much every style you can think of without paying any attention to who & where it came from. Certain songs just have good vibes and get my attention. I'm just now getting into breaks. I've met some really cool DJ's down here and hang with them whenever I can. I got a set of 1200 mk3's this year and a vestax vmc 004 mixer to mess around with and started my record collection which is getting pretty respectable. I managed to get Encyclopedia Funktanica a little while ago which I'm pretty happy about. I'm not much of a DJ though cause I work alot so I have to treat it as hobby whenever I have time to mess around. The decks and mixer got some good use this year at Beach Bash '05 on Siesta that I helped produce along with Skyco, Kindle and with alot of the local DJ's. Even though the weather was against us it went from 11am to almost midnight & definitely had some good vibes after dark. We are gonna start planning another one here pretty soon. I'll post something as soon as we make some progress. So far I definitely like the Florida scene and I'm glad I'm getting more involved.
