Licenses for what?
I'm a financial Planner. I need state licenses in order to conduct business in those states. In order to renew my licenses I need to keep up a certain amount of "CE" credits or else I can't renew. You need 48 credits every 4 years to be able to renew your licenses so that you can work :D

I was a finance/marketing major in college. This was the natural progression. Financial planners are pretty much like financial advisors with some perks. I work with private clients and corporations working with stocks/bonds/mutual funds/401k's/403b's/life insurance/disability insurace/IRA's/Roth IRA's/College Funding/Estate Planning/Long Term Care/etc...
Thats the most general way I can explain it :crazy:
It's also nice because I work for myself so I make my own hours and take as much vacation as I want :D
