So this is the "introduction" threads....well, better late than never, I always say. I live in silicone city...i mean Weston. West of Fort Lauderdale and out here we dont have any clubs or anything. Fort Lauderdale or Miami are the places to go, for sure. As for me, I am the loner. Devoid of friends because of confidentiality issues (trust, for a simpler term.) So, after 5 years, i am alone again. i know a couple of people here and there, but they aint the "hang out on a regular basis" type...i registered here on TA in November of '02 but only recently started posting......If you wanna find out my real name, ya have to ask me. Just know that i am a guy, and i love trance more than anything....well anything except.....;) just sittin here, havin some Raspberry Vodka....about to finish it tho......:( You wanna know more about me, ask away......

Ah hi all I'm new to this board but I'm willing to learn.
I was a club kid back in the 90s listening to mostly gothic, alternative and industrial music. I even DJ'd on WFIT 89.5(melbourne, fl) when it was cool and alternative back in the late 80s early 90s and was there for the birth of house music. I even knew a young DJ Andy Hughes who was also an on air DJ at WFIT at the time. Anyway ever since earing the Oakenfold remix of "Silence" by Delerium I've be drawn into trance music. Right now the Palms 69 remix of "Center of the Sun" by Conjure One is kicking my ass silly!! |

Hey!!!
Wouldn't you know it, I'm listening to some great trance right now. Well, I'm over on the east coast by Cocoa Beach, its all hip hop and breaks around here. Been spinning about 3 years and trying to get into some producing for fun. Wish there were more trance nights around here, does anyone know where to hear some trance in orlando or do I just gotta wait for the big names to come through? |
