Three really hot chicks go to a motel and rent a room. The deskman charges them $30 for the room. The manager of the motel comes in and says that the deskman has charged them too much, that it should only be $25.
The manager then goes to the cash drawer and gets five $1.00 bills,
and has the bellboy take the money back to the three chicks. On his way
up to the room, the bellboy decides to give each of the chicks only one
dollar apiece back and keep the other two dollars for himself.
Now that each one of the chicks has received one dollar back this means
that they only paid $9.00 apiece for the room. So three times the
$9.00 is 27.00 plus the $2.00 the bellboy kept comes to $29. Where is
the other dollar? |
easy...
you dont add the bellboy's $2, because that's already included in the '$9 each for the room' ($27 total)
the manager has $25, the bellboy has $2, the bitches have $3 = $30
in other words they paid $8.33r dollars each for the room :)
it's easily overlooked. an easy way to work it out is to actually coutn out 30 pennies and move them around. |

...You are driving on a highway one night while the rain is coming down in sheets; the storm has absolutely no intention of letting up, and by the sound of the thunder, it's only rising in intensity. There are 3 people by the side of the road: a very old woman, your best friend, and the love of your life. You only have room enough in your car to carry one passenger...
So who do give a ride to? The old woman runs the chance of dying beause she's really quite frail, your best friend is someone whom you can never just leave out in the rain, and the love of your life will never forgive you for ditching him/her out in the middle of a storm. What is your choice? |
I'm sure this was answered a million pages back, but I havent read them all so :p.
Personally, I'd get out of the car and let the love of my life drive the old lady home. That way, my best mate isn't out in the rain by himself (because I'm with him), the old lady wont die because she's being driven home by my girlfriend, and my girlfriend gets home too, so she wont leave me.

This is an unusual paragraph. I'm curious how quickly you can find out what is so unusual about it. It looks so plain you would think nothing was wrong with it! In fact, nothing is wrong with it! It is unusual though. Study it, and think about it, but you still may not find anything odd. But if you work at it a bit, you might find out. |
So... what was wrong with again? |

it's just unusual because it doesn't have the word 'the' or the letter 'e', which are each the most common word and letter in the English language. |

I would take my best friend.
I don't like old bats.
And trust me, there's no such thing as love of your life,
they all leave you at some point. |
