He is short/a midget and cant reach the 12th floor button.
A more intersting variation is including that if it is raining he gets of on the 12th floor when coming home. |

did he like jump off of big ben or something and get his shirt caught on the minute hand right at like xx:46, then when it got around to xx+1:16, he slid off and fell? |

| okay. he gets stuck on the minute hand at xx:00, then when it finally reaches the 6hr mark (30 mins later), he continues his fall and dies on impact. |
