long live james holden.....when i listen to his music, i get a house feel from it, the beats are complex almost like most house beats and to me thats house...to some it may be trance, it may have trance elements in it..but there is no real GENRE to catogorize it in
genres are way to complicated and seem to be limiting people from their real tastes...lets all put it under DANCE music and save ourselves broken balls. |

I didn't say the experience was the same in every club. I said what you experience in the club doesn't change the music.
How about this. I've heard Balance 005 many times, and there is no techno on that CD(s). I don't care how many techno artists are on it under aliases that they don't produce techno under. |

The thing about Sasha is, he plays differently every time.
It all depends on his mood, the crowds mood, the venue.
eg - as I stated earlier he played a banging prog trance/electro set here in melbourne (4+ hours of it- harldy anything from involver). melbourne is known for loving this style. in sydney he played a prog house set - a city reknown for being a bit more house loving and less adventurous. 2 years ago he was playing breakz and electro.
I think this is why sasha is, was and will always be the man - there is no format, only style. |

| Sasha is a progressive dj, in almost every way. He plays progressive house, progressive trance and progressive breaks. Surely there will be exceptions, but this is his core. |
