Noooooo i said im used to clubs and raves having lots and lots of people. I never said i felt unsafe about it.

Unsafe would mean not many exits available in case of a problem. Ive never felt that.

man, are you serious?????

Jay, in the context of Jeff's post, which you quoted, it is pretty obvious that you said that you are used to the capacity of the club being neglected your life being put in jeopardy.

When capacity of a club is neglected and peoples lives are put in jeopardy, the complaint is completely legit.

except that im completely used to it. Never in my life have i gone to a club expecting anything less. Even the raves way back when were packed when they could pack it. I think compolaining about crowds is a relatively new thing in clubland.

Just admit that you contradicted yourself.
Jayx1
um no... because i was reffering to his belief that its overpacked NOT putting people's life in jeopardy. I may have not made myself clear but i know what i was thinking.

I dont need others to try and tell me how i think.

It's a figure of speech. When you leave a club and you say "it feels like my ears bled" its basically saying the speakers were way too in loud and your ears ring/hurt badly.

the bouncers at system are some of the nicest bouncers I've met.

(yea yea i hear the ones at boa are nice too and I did experience that when I went there on a chemistry night in august)

they had club renovations made early last year, which to this day are still causing some problems (the wooden flooring in that side area of what used to be the 'VIP'/'Side Room')..

what was done here was replacing the actual audio system & speakers that's used in the mainroom with better equipment in hopes of offering a better experience.

Kool...thanks for the info...But for some reason System has sounded better since the renovations last yr....Lawler in March and Halloween in Oct were prime examples of that...

Very well said Jeff.

If no one had bitched about the sound at system, would they have replaced it? I doubt it.

true dat , true dat. so sometimes it pays off to complain!

maybe im wrong but i doubt it that people bitching on forums actually made owner (or ownres) do that.

is that really a case ????

Many people in club management positions do read forums like these and many club promoters and other employees come on as well and relay the message to their superiors but you are even more likely have change happen if you go on the clubs website and post a complaint in their forum because it is even more likely that the clubs management will read it and if you get enough support behind you then I'm sure changes will be made since I have seen it happen in the past unless the owners and management don't give a and don't care whether their clientel is happy and leave and in that case their club won't last long:happy2:

Ever wonder why GUV has been around for like 8 years and has been so successful? Well you have a very hands on owner who reads the forums and makes changes and puts the customers first and knows whats going on in his establishment and runs around with a radio and earpiece so how much more hands on can you get? Hany (Rony) at BOA is another example of how an owner should be by being hands on and involved with his establishment and we have all seen how successful BOA has been so far.The worst in when you see a club who's owners aren't even in the building half the time or only make breif cameo appearences:rolleyes:
