| Looks like I'm not going. $85 for Deep Dish is weak. Tiesto can go to hell. Maybe if they spent all the money they did on loser Tiesto on a few good house music DJs, I'd go. |

To be fair, that's just about right in terms of line-up...there's still going to be one major headliner in the trance/tech room for sure, and if that does happen, then you're looking at a line-up that's at least as good as last year's if not better.
Last year's line-up:
House room:
Jester, Peter Rauhofer, Lafleche, Deep Dish
Trance/Tech room:
Preach, AVB, PVD, Marco G
This year, in the house room, you have Jester, Rauhofer and Deep Dish again, plus Morales and Lipe instead of Lafleche. Despite all their gayness, I'll take that tradeoff anyday.
In the trance room, assuming they'll book a headliner equivalent to Armin (I'm thinking PVD, Picotto, Misstress), you'd have Marco G and Preach again plus two headliners in Tiesto and whomever else. So that's pretty much equal.
All in all, last year's Bal was a blast, so I don't imagine this year's can be any worse all things considered. If anything, it'll be better, especially with respect to the House room. |

Ya I heard there was a fallout between her and 514, but I still remember her being booked for the Bal in 2003...I assume she only recently pissed them off then...
Anyway, I can't think of anyone else (other than Mauro) that they'd bring in in terms of techno headliners. Coxy is out. Sven and Liebing I totally cannot see happening for whatever reason. Maybe Hawtin? |
