Reason 3 (pg. 10)

IM thinking project5 V2 AND REASON 2.5 OR 3 and dump cubase even though i have it. i think reason and P5 will compliment each other.
but know thats three things i got to buy:
midi keyboard
reason 2.5
P5
HOW MUCH WILL IT COST?
OPTIONS:
-cubase rewire with reason
-p5 only
-p5 and reason 2.5 since p5 is also a sequencer and is mainly loop based but you can do linear stuff though if need be. |

| I use reason 3 and Cubase sx and rewire, works marvelously. |

This was the biggest laugher IMHO! More does NOT mean better. 1 killer OSC will ALWAYS sound better than multiple crappy OSC's... |

It only took 2 minutes to find them, but then I got hungry and had to go to the grocery store before I submitted the post, so it took and hour. :D |

ok could you explain what an OSC's is? do they change the sound of a default pathch?
4 vs 2 does this matter?

it's an OSCillator, OSC is a common abbreviation.
How many OSC's a synth has is largely irrelevant. Sure you can do a bit more with more than one, but the sound quality is what really matters. There are plenty of one OSC synths that sound KILLER (TB-303, Juno-6/60/106 come to mind). |
