It's my opinion about the matter. I know it may be harsh, but I believe that a child needs a mother and father to be raised properly. Not 2 fathers. It's about the psychological effects that I'm worried about.

Hehehehe, try telling that to some of the hardcore bible people down in NC in Rally/Durham where i was (read that as most of the ppl i encountered when down there). They'd flame you alive for speaking such words.

Well thats their problem for believing that stuff word for word. Even my High School religion teacher said that more than half of the Bible's stories shouldn't be taken literally cause some of the stuff in their seems like something written by a person on a crazy trip of Acid. Eg. God appearing as a burning, talking bush.

I dunno man.

My spider plant in the bathroom was telling me last week that I needed to talk to it more often.

Yes...I was drinking
Yes....It was 5am
Yes...I hadn't slept in 36 hours

What??

Why is everyone looking at me like that??

LOL that's so funny.

Honestly, if David Blaine was alive 2000 years ago, people would think he was magical and amazing... they'd probably crucify him too. I don't necessarily deny that Jesus was a person, but he was probably just a charismatic, well-liked, clever individual. All this "son of god" stuff kinda annoys me. Same with the prophecies. Prophets seem like an excuse for society to not have to worry about forethought.

Im agnoist.

You cant prove that (a) god(s) excist, but neither can you prove that he(they) doesnt excist.

Although I am much more leaning towards that there isn't any god, than that there is one.

OK Jem...what's going on? I don't fit into Athiest or Agnostic.

What about ppl like me who don't follow any religion.
I happen to love and respect all people and all religions.
If there is a god that spiritually guides people to try and be kind to one another and respect each other, then he is my god too.
So you see, I don't fit into agnostic bc I believe that there may be a god. I don't pray and idolize any one God but for me God is omnipresent through us.
God is a spiritual tree with many branches of religion.

Where do I fit in? :conf:

As a spiritual person, I try to lead a righteous life. I believe we must become artists in living. To live by inspiration and sense the divine touch in everything; to enter into the spirit of things; to enter into the joy of living.

I believe there is an Avalon life.
No I'm not saying I wear berkenstocks and talk to the trees and cry with the wind :whip:

I believe that when we die we go to a place of healing and retreat from the world (paradise), essentually we go to the source of our immortality
I believe that while I am living on earth, I too have a power to make things happen and that it is my energy and positive spirit that brings love near me.

I also believe that as a human I am fallible, and that I can make changes within me by striving to learn and draw from the good energy of those around me.

So then why is there no category for people like me :)

^^^ I kinda like the sounds of that...and it makes a sort of sense too.

religions make us hate, but believing in something brings us together.

i respect y'all but if you trying to tell me that not once in your life you were like "please dear God ......" then i dont believe you.

but i still respect how are you feeling about your atheism and such.

+1 to atheist :)

SPANIARD
I'm a little bit of Agnostic and Athiest but I would say I'm more Athiest.

To not make it complicated, +1 for Athiest.
Cyrus King
Im am an Agnostic deeply leaning towards atheism. atheism is the key to progression for our civilization.

When i drive by churches, mosques, and other religious temples that worship these man made "gods" and the prophets that have been sent down (coincidentally in human form) to spread "gods" messages.. i cant help but laugh at how idiotic and glorified these stories are
