my dad, my 2 bosses, the guy i work with (file clerk) and my boyfriend... (i'm just listing all the men that i see and talk to on a daily basis) they are ALL pushovers... i mean i love them (dad and boyfriend), don't get me wrong, but when you won't even send a $50 overcooked filet mignon back because you ordered it rare, then there's a problem. it's like why are they all scared to "make a scene". i know women can be drama queens, but at least we stick up for ourselves.
like the other day my bf and i went to the cell phone store cuz his broke and the chick comes back from the back and she's like, "ok sir, we're not going to be able to replace it with that exact model, is that ok?"
my boyfriend: "yea sure"
i was like umm hello?! are u even going to make sure it's of equal or more value and has the same features and stuff as your other one? i gave him a a look and like whispered it and i could tell he was like, "jesus shut up will ya"! then he goes to her, "yea umm, it's going to have the same features right?" lol
i dunno maybe it's a chick thing. i just always seem to be the one fighting for us to get good service at a restaurant, or get refunds on some crap we got sold, or arguing w/ the airline for making us miss our flights and then getting a voucher...u know that sort of stuff.
guys are always just like, "yea whatever". |
LoL is funny, my ex was such a Drama Queen @ best... stuff I didnt even care, there she was to make the scene for me.. how sweet.. but yeah, girls seem to not give a crap and just fight for their right to whatever they are fighting for.. and my mom, jeez.. there goes another one.. but yeah, I agree that we in general are more like W.E. about things that are not that worthy of drama... :p BUUUUT!! when you take my pissed off side of me, you get it ;) |

My GF is usually a pain in the ass and I'm starting to get fed up with it. I can never talk back to her, even when I agree with her, she will either get very defensive and yell back, or say "I don't want to talk about it anymore!". I dare not hang the phone up on her, she does it frequently on me and it's ok. I'm not allowed to make a scene it may embarrass her, but she does it all the time. When we're deciding on something to eat, she hates when she has to decide, and calls me indecisive, however every place I recommend she's not in the mood for. If I'm not in the mood for sex, she overanalyzes our relationship, and we end up on the brink of breaking up. I have to assure her that i'm just tired. When I'm in the mood and she's not, she goes, "Nooooooo, please,.. i'm sorry, i'm tired". I hear this every other night, heck we only have sex like once a week now maybe less. I hate driving her anywhere! I can't drive near trucks, go over the speed limit, have to slow down on turns. She really pushes my buttons when she criticizes my driving. She pays for our meals once every 15 times. I can't fall asleep when she's awake, she'll think i'm ignoring her, when I'm just trying to take a stupid nap. There are so many things that bother me about her nowadays. Whenever I try to hug her she complains about bone on bone interaction. When I kiss her, she complains that it tickles. I guess the only thing I can do is massage her. God forbid I don't massage her one day, she'll freak.
Yeah I guess you can say my life is pretty terrible right now. I'm a very laid back person, I take calm approach to life's issues. I don't like to make scenes, and don't consider myself dramatic. She's the opposite. I wish I could just escape... |
