TOTA (F) Massif: Was it just me or was the first hour and half of the night spent just saying hi to all the TOTAs? Talk about an uber-crew of funky delight! We all could be diggin' ditches in 30 deg C weather - and still have an awesome time. ^5 Man I love friends. :)
The Luke Chable: impressed me with the tune selection. It would have been great to have him play for more than 60 minutes, however I enjoyed it while it lasted. I will make a point to see him again.
The Dave Seaman: I suspect I was still recovering from Mr. Chable's efforts to really appreciate Mr. Seaman's work. HOWEVER there was one uber-tune that he played that should be outlawed (the ID I will never know, but I am damn glad my ass got to shake to it).
The Ferry Corsten: his work was classic and it was awesome that he treated us to such an epic long set. Ferry is a champ, I saw his belt - so I know. Always a good show by this guy.
The Jose Nunez: WTF?!? I must have been living under a rock. 10 years of going to this venue and I had no idea such delicious haus was played in The Drink. I was fortunate enough to catch the last 45 mins of Jose's set - haus heaven! My Guv plans moving forward will ALWAYS consist of a few good hours of ass-shakin' haus via The Drink (after the 3:30 am Prada-Only rules are lifted).

Haha Ya, I'm Shanny's gf. That was only the second time I met Larissa. Maybe I did meet you, I'm not sure. I'm sure I saw you and was just never introduced. Ah well, I'm sure I'll meet you the next time around and we'll get our groove on! |

i dont know, i just dont enjoy parties as much i used to a while back, maybe cause i have overdone it. anyhow it was good, but i miss the days where i can walk around a little freely without gettin walked over and drinks spilling over.
but fun regardless with friends. |

ok..4 hrs sleep..i'm much better
got to the guv around 12..i think..ran into tons of TAs right in the beginning. it actually did take a good half hr to make rounds. went into the guv for 5 mins..didn't really care for what mark o was spinnin (thats a first) so deaked it back to KH. don't really remember chable set..and didn't notice when seaman came on. i DO know i couldn't stop dancin.
stayed in the KH till the beginning of Ferrys set. caught the first hr and a half..i love this man..he never disappoints me. at 4 i head over back to the KH for gabriel.
since WMC G&D have bumped up to #1 (but i could be biased). now while i would have preferred both there..josh in killed. every other song i was lookin for pett (who knows all..almost;) so i could remember in the mornin..yea that didn't happen. dunno what happened to the mixer (??) but it physically hurt.
went back to the guv after his set. i had serious wanderlust (for once i left the front/centre). the front then began to clear up ( i take up a lot of space) and things got buckwild. usually by the end of the nite i want to hear more but i physically can't take it. not sat. i could have gone on forever. ferrys energy, enthusiasum.. damn!!!
i still remember the days when my shoutouts consisted of 2 ppl. soon i'm going to have to use shorthand codes..lol
alex..my dancin partner..again.wow..i'm gettin depressed thinkin about partyin a whole summer without u. it will def. not be the same

Hahaha, thanks girl... you know I really appeciated that. It was so great, had so much fun on the drive up. so how was the book? :conf: LOL, im only being jokes.
there were some interesting convos, esp. at the end, and Pizzahut was a blast. the roadtrip up was such great times. i love roading then eating at a reasturant w/ friends... just random good fun times.
honestly, i felt almost younger and more carefree after leaving there... then just going back to my place and chilling for those 30-40 mins before yall had to leave. it was just good times.

my thoughts exactly.:D KH was awesome. Can't say I was too impressed with Addy's start to the night as he was a bit all over the place for my liking but after Chable's perfect warmup and Dave Seaman's monstrous set, I was all smiles. I had heard from some people that Seaman's set in NY was a miss so I was really hoping he would come out hard in TO...which he did. I have seen him play a few times before and this was definitely the best I have seen in him. YAY.
KH Crowd was lovely and not too messy,there was lots of room to dance and the beats were hard, dark, gritty and massive just as they should be in that space. Only saw about half of Greyarea's set. Was loving their tracks and their high energy performance but the sound in the KH at that point was just too loud and dirty which made it hard on my ears. Thanks Twitch for the plugs. BTW Kev, keep your hands off my boyfriend already...people are starting to talk. LOL
Thankfully my friends who wanted to meet at the club on the GUV side came over to the KH to find us when they got tired of the heat and the pushing so I didn't have to enter the mob scene. I had intended to spend the night in KH as I am really not a Guv nor a Ferry fan and as expected I was completely content in my bubble within the darkness of the KH.
It was great to be out with my TA mates again and I also met so many other wonderful new TA folks... too many to even mention here.
see you all on the dancefloor again soon.
