Chadly is a superhero when it comes to glow sticks...he was on FIRE at Ultra Spin..
its pictures like this and light shows that he was giving that night that make me hella proud to be his friend!

OK, so I am home and somewhat rested...LOL
Just wanted to say thanks for another great weekend in TO...
I got a late start from Detroit, it was kind of a last minute decision to come up Saturday night instead of Sunday, so I didn't cross the border till after 7:30!
Went right to the KH....waited in the guestlist line for like 10 mins, but the woman that took my name didn't give me a friggin discount ticket, I went back but she wasn't there...so I said 'Fcuk it' and just paid the $20...
Walked in and saw the crew right away! It was a great vibe in the KH, Addy was doing a great job, Luke went on from there and then Dave Seaman did his thing...
Listened to quite a bit of GreyArea as well...interesting set but full of energy...and they DID say "We are Motley Crue from Los Angeles" and I was totally sober!...LOL
Decided to take a venture to the Guv...aka sardine can...Ferry was ripping it up...and everyone was totally into it...it even made a househead like me dance for a while!
Went back and forth from the KH to the Guv for a while...just enjoying the music and seeing my friends in my 'second home'...:)
It was great hanging out with the usual suspects out smoking, shooting the e and having a great time...
Went up into the Drink to get some of my house music fix...and Choo Choo didn't dissappoint, neither did Nunez....great beats!
Around 7:30...I had been up for over 24 hours so I was pretty tired (being sober and all) so I headed out...
To be honest, I had been listening to some serious tribal house all the way up and the music at US7, just kind of conflicted with the mindset that I was in...I totally enjoyed myself and the music, but it was more of a social night for me than a pure dancing night!...:D
I will get my pics up tonight, I promise!!
To the folks that I know already...too many to mention...always great to see you all! But I met a few other TOTA's Saturday that I will give a shout-out to!

Richelle....Wow, so awesome to meet you in person as well! Such a stellar person!
starsearcher...heh, it was good chatting about the "lipstick L's" while listening to SEaman's set...heh
Karim...sorry to hear about some stuff that went on after you left and that, but it was great meeting you.
There are a bunch of others, but I am soooo bad with names...I apologize in advance...

im not sure i ever will catch up those hours i lost :)
takin' easy this weekend tho, nothing planned and happy about it. just a little beer/appetizer work social on friday at 5pm, but ill not be going nuts there, i need a nice chill and relaxed friday. i want to crash by 11 and catch up on sleep before i wake up and go BACK to work on saturday :o

You're right Nik, Cam always takes sweet pics. He took a pic of Chad, and then Kim ran over and wanted Cam to take a pic of her and Chad. And after she was like "Do you know that guy?" Haha and me and Chad just started laughing. What a drunken mess she was.
But yes...Chad is a master mind at the glowsticks, and Josh at the strobes...I also like (to live dangerously), and am so proud to see everyone stare in awe at how good they are...and we have the priveldge of being like "yea, that's right...I know them...what? what?" haha |
