Actually, the age of consent for ANAL sex is 18 in Canada (except Quebec and maybe Ontario).
edit: "Even consensual activity with those under 14 but over 12 may not be an offence if the accused is under 16 and less than two years older than the complainant."

it's an age of consent law, not a law prohibiting anal sex... so it's conceivable that it's being enforced |

What if one is 21 and the other 15. Suppose the father of one of the 15 year old disapproves of that lifestyle and presses charges against the 21 year old. It's also used in rape cases. It's certainly not the most common offense, but there are cases of it.

man...you can't seem to stay on one topic without relating it to something else can you? Consensual is a different issue. A 21 year old and a younger teen is prohibited anyway, regardless of what kind of sex they're having. |

Because of the no-greater-than-a-5-year-age-difference rule, a 21 year-old can only "by law" have consensual sex w/ a 16 year old.
Any younger, and the age difference woudl be greater than 5 years and either the teen or her parents could press charges and claim statutory rape. :(
