Emre looks set to finally join Newcastle next week for £4m.

quote:
Reports in Turkey suggest that Emre Belozoglu will clinch a move to Newcastle on Monday.

The midfielder has made it clear he intends to leave Internazionale this summer and has been courted by a number of teams, most notably in England.

Newcastle have appeared in pole position to sign him for some time, but have been unable to thrash out a fee with Inter.

The impasse looked set to scupper the move and Liverpool, Fenerbahce and Galatasaray were amongst the teams ready to take advantage.

However, having sold Darren Ambrose to Charlton on Friday, The Magpies look ready to push through a deal for the Turkish star.

Sources close to the player insist he will travel to England on Monday and should put the finishing touches to his move to The Premiership.

- Juve and Gunners still in talks over French contingent.
Seria A giants Juventus have confirmed their talks with Arsenal over the move of a number of French players were nowhere near the end.

The name of Juve striking force David Trezeguet, who was strongly linked with English champions Chelsea FC only a few days ago, was mentioned in a potential player exchange between the two clubs, with Vieira possibly joining the Stadio delle Alpi, while Trezeguet would join France international team mate Thierry Henry upfront for the Gunners.

But Luciano Moggi quickly ruled out any potential move of the French international striker, Juve’s general manager admitting the player was untransferable (click here for details). With Cassano now more than unlikely to complete a move from Roma to Juve, Trezeguet is now set to stay put at the Italian side.

However, it now looks like Juventus will do whatever they have to land the services of Patrick Vieira. The experienced midfielder, almost on the go to Real Madrid only a season ago, has been slapped with a £14m price tag by Arsenal, with French international defender Jonathan Zebina now also linked with a move to Highbury as part of the deal.

Arsenal and Juventus are now set to meet again next week to discuss and potentially finalize the move of Vieira to the Calcio.

Chelsea linked to Ronaldinho move

Chelsea are reportedly poised to make an audacious £83m bid for Barcelona striker Ronaldinho, according to Italian newspaper Corriere dello Sport.

The 25-year-old Brazilian would be given a nine-year contract worth £10m per year as part of the deal.

However, Ronaldinho's brother Roberto de Assis, who acts as his agent, has rejected talk of any Chelsea offer.

Ronaldinho has three years left on his contract at the Nou Camp and has been negotiating a five-year extension.

Barca have already installed a £100m buy-out clause in his current deal which is designed to deter any bids for the exciting frontman.

Ronaldinho was rumoured to be unsettled at the Nou Camp following the resignation of former Barca vice-president Sandro Rosell, who quit after a long-running dispute with president Joan Laporta.

But the player is content in Catalonia, and when interviewed last month said: "I can't see myself living anywhere else.

"My family is very happy here and that was the main thing when I had to choose between Barcelona and Manchester United."

Hey Plastick, I dont mean to be a dick but instead of posting 1 full page every day, you could just post www.goal.com (or whatever other website your grabbing your info from) instead of just copying and pasting the entire website onto the thread... Besides, more than half of the stuff you paste are "interests from clubs" or "offers" instead of actual completed transfers.... So if theres some official transfer that matters, then please post it but theres no need to paste an entire website's section of daily news here.. ;)
