Emre has finally completed his move to Newcastle from Inter Milan for £4M. He signed a 5 year deal today.

Latest transfer news from my neck of the woods:

Arsenal are considering a move for Jenas if Vieira leaves. The newspapers are talking about swapping Sol Campbell plus money for Jenas but Newcastle deny that and say Jenas is not for sale. Arsenal's other possible replacement is Diarra from Lyon. Laurent Robert predicted a couple of weeks ago that his teammate Jenas would leave Newcastle. Souness admitted today he is interested in Campbell but he is also said to be looking at Upson from Birmingham in a possible swap deal for Nicky Butt + cash, a player Birmingham have been after for some time.

hmm I dont think he's classy, in another thread I put the reasons. But Ive always thought he's good player and probably the best header in the world now.And the world saw it in the confed.Congrats on the signing :)

I've rated him ever since I saw him play in World Cup 2002 I think it was, where he got a great header against Italy & He looked a great target man, and that's the type of striker we need at bolton, someone to feed off crosses from Stelios & Diouf & to lay off well to out attacking midfielders, while still scoring 15 a season, Kevin Davies is ok but not prolific, so this would be good business imo. Bolton have denied the deal this afternoon but we often do until it's totally gone thro (which if he's at the gold cup it prob hasn't)

Jon Dahl Tomasson, Milan --> Stuttgart

Borghetti is mint indeed. Good target man. He likes to sneak in the penalty area to score.

Yeah, that was a great goal. This guy is a good player. Good luck to him in Bolton.

BTW, how much is £950'000 in pesos? Anyone got a calculator?
