The end |
Owning me? Just upset and fed up at your full of hot air assumptions about me. Know somebody before you classify them as Socialist. Your political views aim to americanize canada. Mine are more for a dutch style system. How does that make me a socialist? They arguably have more freedom in Holland than anywhere in the world, yet their governments social programs are amongst the best. Criticize me all you want, just because I'm one of the few that has the balls to stand up against your bull.
:p

For the record, I don't think politics should have ever been brought up in this thread. The only reason why I commented on a political matter was because there were major FACTUAL errors in your posts.

What are those policies?

Again, which specific policies are you referring to.
Also, what's wrong with the US? Again, specifics.

what do you have against families? I am against a bill that would create motherless and fatherless families as a matter of state policy. You're against that???

Let me get this straight: you want change, yet you support the status quo party - the one that got us into this mess. :conf: |

I enjoy the variety on this board. I feel it's what makes TOTA so great. I like the fact that I can share my life and interests (be they girls, breasts, cars, the weather, my job, et cetera, et cetera) on here with fellow ppl who also share my love for the music. I find that the music connects us all. A mutal love of music can be a very bonding and poweful connection. And since many of us always party together, you form friendships, and I'd not like to think my posts on this board should be entirely restricted to trance related discussion. I wanna share more on this board than that.
I don't enjoy the flamming and hate that sometimes floats around on here. Most don't -- I hope. The over sensitivity of some also can get a bit extreme, but that's soley my opinion... many think I do not show enough sensitivity all the time -- a fair judegement sometimes I suppose. I think a lot of ppl on here just generally need to relax and be more chill.
Live love. Love life.
Trance is key.

My friend, I dunno whut started all this ppl seem to be gripping about agaist you (I feel outta the loop and cant really catch up right now), but support you, Karim.
As an aside, I read your above post about how TOTA is really just a Toronto social group whose members share a common interest in trance, house and other EDM -- the core of why we are all here... and I agree 100%.
Sorry to see this, Karim. I know ya man, you always have my vote.

I agree though that we should be able to talk about whatever we want on here. However let me point out that it was karim who first objected to post content. |

and there we have it ladies and gentlemen.
i guess we can all give up discussing music now since we don't know about it or about the scene.
let me guess, ***** is a better representation? |

Backtracking everything that the gay movement has progressed in recent years. Stripping them of the right to raise families as a gay couple etc.
2-tier health care. I simply don't agree with it.
The government should play a greater role in our society. If you privatize alot of it, their roll becomes less and less significant.

The usa is a privatized society where many are left in the dust. The lack of social programs in the USA create the tension between racial groups, making crime an issue. In a country where people are forced to fend for themselves, different social groups only help out their own groups, leaving others out in the cold. At least here, people without privelage have the opportunities to seek help from a government willing to help them. We can't leave social programs in the hands of a business.

Your bill also strips homosexual couples of the right to start families. In the bill, it's ok for people to be single parents, but 2 have 2 people of the same sex parent a child is wrong?!?! WTF's up with that?!

I supported a party that was progressing the legalization of marijuana, and had a realistic plan of progressing our country while keeping social systems intact. Unfortunately, they can't put into practice anything they try.

Jem, I was not condemning the variety on these boards, I was only saying that the price to pay for such variety is a lot of off-topic threads. And that when one makes off topic threads, he/she should expect off-topic responses. If you had taken the time to read (not skim) my posts you probably would have figured this out.
For the record: I wasn't talking down to Karim before, you now, or anyone else for that matter at any time. I was just trying to explain to Karim why this phenomenon occurs. |
