| Putting me to sleep people..... |

Even if it's a party that some people would want to go to but chose not to for various reasons, those people wouldn't start a thread, but would post in one, saying stuff like "wish I was going" or "have fun everybody, should be a good night" inflating its hype.
:)

dude, another issue of yours.
maybe, just maybe, those people actually want to go to these parties but can't. don't tell me that you always are able to go to every party you want to.
PEOPLE DO NOT ALWAYS HAVE MALICIOUS INTENTIONS.
People don't always "feel like playing the disturber role today". ;). |

Backtracking everything that the gay movement has progressed in recent years. Stripping them of the right to raise families as a gay couple etc. |
False and false. The CPC would grant full gay rights, while preserving traditional marriage.
I disagree with the CPC on that: I think only a man and a woman should raise children, because otherwise it's very unfair to the children.

They don't support 2-tier health care. All services would be publicly funded, although some private delievery could take place.

Again, I disagree with the CPC on that. There's nothing wrong with a 2-tier system, as long as universality is maintained. The federal government should get out of the health care game altogether.
| quote: | | The government should play a greater role in our society. If you privatize alot of it, their roll becomes less and less significant. |
What exactly does the CPC want to privitize?
| quote: | | The usa is a privatized society where many are left in the dust. The lack of social programs in the USA create the tension between racial groups, making crime an issue. In a country where people are forced to fend for themselves, different social groups only help out their own groups, leaving others out in the cold. At least here, people without privelage have the opportunities to seek help from a government willing to help them. We can't leave social programs in the hands of a business. |
I've lived in the US, and I can tell you that what you wrote there is nonsense. There are just as many social programs in the US as in Canada. Remember, the US had welfare and unemployment insurance long before Canada did. Also, crime is not just based on economics... to say so would be a slap in the face to poor people worldwide (who are by the way, the vast majority of people in the world. Are they all criminals? )
The fact is, Canada and the US are as similar to each other as any two countries in the world. So get off your high horse.
| quote: | | Your bill also strips homosexual couples of the right to start families. In the bill, it's ok for people to be single parents, but 2 have 2 people of the same sex parent a child is wrong?!?! WTF's up with that?! |
The CPC policy is to give full rights under a civil union, while maintaining traditional marriage. That's a good, moderate policy, unlike the extremist views of the Lieberals and NDP.
Again, I disagree with it. I don't think gay couples should be able to adopt... but the CPC does.
| quote: | | I supported a party that was progressing the legalization of marijuanaim |
Although I support legalizing marijuana in theory, you must understand that the only reason why the Lieberals brought in the decriminalization legislation was to help their mafia friends!
The Lieberals also want to legalize prostitution, also to help their mafia friends. |

But I don't do it to support the argument like you try to do. In my critical thinking class, which is a whole class on analyzing arguments, it freakin states that personal experience should be taken with a grain of salt. You push it as the backbone of all of your arguments. Credible, well thought out sources are the ones you want.
:)

I mix both fact and opinion. Its how most people speak about issues that affect them personally. After all we arent trying to get elected or pass a critical thinking class here. Sorry if we cant all be scholars like you. Let me bow down.. LOL |
