I meant soulseek as in I choose my own files in a file sharing program. IE. I download my own.
Promo for commercial reasons can be a bit much. When said promoters are the ones starting the roll call threads, even if there is no hype for a party, you know somethings gone wrong. And that's what happens on the TOTA main discussion board.
And to criticize tr.ibe, only to make it fair, I can easily miss events that I'd like to attend on that board. Not enough exposure.
It's actually nice to be able to choose to read promo material, rather than have it in front of you all the time.

Karim's theory in practice: You better not post these pics because it may drive perfectly sane men to go rape young women since they are obviously not smart enough to control their urges when presented with such material. We should all live in a benign world where everything is black and white so people arent coerced into doing things they dont want to do like molesting people and buying mcdonalds sandwiches after seeing people chant about them on tv or being forced to go to parties against our will because someone made a roll call for it.

i don't even know why you keep talking about Tribe?
there is only one type of promo discussion on the main TOTA board and that is Roll Calls and after the event there is Reviews. Ari and Del do their best to move everything to the event forum. So I don't know why you keep saying that it's in your face all the time. you are the only one complaining about it. |

I'm 100% positive that promoters ask patrons of this board to create roll call threads for parties that don't originally have a roll call thread to create hype that it wouldn't have otherwise gotten.
I brought up tribe cause you did.
