haha to get back OFF topic, UM plays the same time as cheese so unless youre finna be runnin back n forth youre gonna have to make a choice. IMO id do the cheese b/c as of late they have been laying down some solid EDMish stuff. o and bring your hoolahoop and butterfly wings if you do come. o and dont shower.

now to get back on topic, are oakey, hernan, sharam and fergie all playing in the eagles and then other smaller-name dj's in the rest of the place or am i just totally off?

hahah, yea i think we're kind of gonna be going back and forth. i never really watch the bands at Summerfest, i just kind of mingle and wander from one stage to the next, concentrating on my beer and food.

and i will be freshly showered :D

from the poster that i saw it looks like oakey, hernan, sharam, and fergie will all be in one room. it has them listed and then below it says "plus 6 massive rooms with over 30 special guest djs". what time does the show start at and what time does this place close?

massive :wtf:

i believe doors open at 7 or 8pm, and bartime is 2am which means it'll probably end around 1:45am.

i have no idea what that posters talking about because i've been to the rave numerous times and i wouldn't even consider the eagles ballroom (where oakey & co. are and which is the biggest stage in the venue) to be massive.

idk why i really care though cause i dont think ill be leaving the ballroom anyhow.

as far as i know they arent playing in the ballroom, which is actually quite big. they're playing in the 1500 capacity Eagles Club. Atleast thats why my ticket says:conf:

14. CJ Bolland - The Prophet(Original Mix)

I don't know if that's a good sign or a bad one, but I really want to hear any and/or all of those tracks.... Resident is such a kick ass disc...

i'd love to hear the brainbug tune... :D *nostalgia setting in...*

What's the word on Hernan. I like his stuff, but his style seems like it would lend itself better to home listening. That being said, I have never heard a live set from him.

He's good, deep house... I like his stuff a lot, but I'd agree, I'm a bit apprehensive about how his style will translate live... I can think of certain places I'd LOVE to see Hernan spin real deep, The Rave just isn't one of them...

That being said, it will be interesting to see how Oakey reacts to the venue as well... I've seen a lot of his setlists lately that I thought were just so-so (Which is just my opinion based on tracks I recognize, not actually hearing the set), but after reading the NYC Crobar reviews... I hope I'm just not setting myself up for a let down...

:haha:

Fergie isn't even the headliner in his own area.

And a bigger :haha: at the 1/2 hour sets some people got stuck with.
