my friend called me up today and told me that he heard about this on the radio (i havent been on TA for a couple days to see thsi thread)
i thought oakie was pretty good last year, atleast.. it was fun
regardless of how much of a hole the rave is, with hernan and deep dish on the line-up, im going for sure :p |

I hate to say this before the event even happens - especially after my comments RE: Sasha this last Friday, but I'd be willing to bet that Sharam and Hernan own Oakey that night...
Forgot about Hernan and Sharam... I may make it down to Mil town for this after all, though I won't be paying the $500 or whatever it was to spin...

I also inquired about djing this show. i would love to be able to drop 500 and play with these guys, but its really not possible. getting 20 friends to pay 25 for tickets and then drive 5 hours and pay for hotel, etc is just too much to ask. i also think its a pretty bogus deal and a good way for the promoter to take absolutely no financial risk in putting on such a large scale event.
but with this lineup i may need to take the trip and put up with the craptastic venue. |

Yeah dude, I thought the guy, Justin or whatever, was just a really sketchy dude to talk to... He just seemed like a slimy salesman...
Plus 45 minute sets, definitely not a lot of time to make an impression... I get frustrated enough with hour slots...

| all i know is, this is probably one of the few times where you can see sharam and hernan, at the same time, in wisconsin. even though it's a ty venue... meh. it'll be a good time. |
