i guess this is Milwaukee's fix for not having a DJ night @ Summerfest this year. all i know is... seeing a DJ outside at Summerfest, despite the bleachers and all, is wayyyy better than the crappy Rave. |

Hrm. I've never been to the rave. Is it that crappy? That day is my birthday and while I'd like to see Oakenfold I don't want to go to some crappyhole.
I assume Moby is NOT spinning, right?

personally i hate The Rave. the only time i go there is if there's a band/act i REALLY am just dying to see, and every time i always swear it'll be the last time i go there. drinks are insanely expensive ($6 for a little cup of beer and all they have is Miller), the sound is , and i just don't like the atmosphere.
Moby will be @ Summerfest on July 3rd, but as far as i've seen that's the only DJ they have booked for Summerfest this year.
i've never seen Sasha before either! i'm not 100% certain i'll make it down, but i hope to.

hmmm.. i don't know if i'm gonna see this. i wasn't impressed with oakenfold last year.

Well, those are the only tracks I recognize, and to be honest, I can't even come close to getting a feel for what one of Oakey's sets sounds like from that...
So someone answer this for me: What is this guys deal right now, i.e. wtf is he playing? Looks a lot more progressive/house/techy than I would expect from Oakey, but I also haven't listened to Oakenfold or seen him live in almost 4 years...
This may sound cheesy as hell, but man, in the last week I've gotten real nostalgic for the days of Resident: Two Years of Oakenfold at Cream and GU 007: New York...
