Dude.... the heat is going to kill me....
I'm going to need like $2000 just for H2O...
Hopefully there won't be as many people there as for Panic or Trey, if so, it will certainly be too warm for me to dance...
In all seriousness, I don't know about the whole rumours of what has been the downfall of Paul Oakenfold, what's true/what isn't, but if he can bring me back to the way I felt about EM circa 99-00, I swear right now that I will never make another cokenfold reference again... |

got to crobar at twelve and stayed until 4:45 when oakey was done. crobar was not packed so there was alot of room to dance which was nice, there was still alot of coked up asians bumpin into me which i hate but it could have been worse. Liquid Todd was warmin up the crowd and did a great job at it, he's such a cool guy he was all over the place when he was done spinning. Oakey came on at 1:30 and he absolutely blew my mind for the next 3 hours :eyes: :eyes:     i can't believe how good he played and the amazing tracks he brought out. i can't ID them now cause i will have to dig deep into my 1999 collection but he threw down some classics from 99' that i never thought i would hear again, like Y Traxx - Mysteryland    and alot of other stuff. i will try to post all the highlights of his set later... paul was really into his set and as soon as he got up to da decks he saw my cream shirt and got a huge smile on his face and kept pointing to me all night, it was awesome :D he even signed my Another World and Creamfields CD's :D
i know all u guys were at Zabiela but Oakey was truly amazing, it was really good to se how much he was into his set and how good he ing played, could be the start of something good for him

...
Wide Open Space anyone?
;)
For the record, I was thinking it would be pretty awesome if we got to hear some good, deep, semi-meoldic house from Hernan, some nice Deep Dishy goodness from Sharam, and then some old school "Chedda" from oakey... not like Tiesto Cheddda, Oakey Chedda...
If we were comparing Oakenfold cheese to Tiesto cheese it would be like comparing sharp Monroe Wisconsin Muenster to Kraft Singles... No comparison... |

i heard a rumor that he was getting divorced so maybe his wife took all of his newer records in the divorce settlement.
and you can put me down for Eisbaer |

Ohhh man. Eisbaer. That would be (up to this point) the greatest clubbing moment of my life. I should custom make a shirt requesting that in the slim hopes that he has it in his bag.

i dont think itll be as packed as trey or panic. keep in mind phish had just disbanded and nobody really knew what trey's new band was gonna be like (or at least most people). also, in my experience there seem to be way more "jam band" fans in the milwaukee area then TA's.
haha we should start a heady-TA-lot-scene. "whos got my rolls" "1 for 3, 2 for 5" |

Yeah dude... Panic was PACKED (Reuinion show though....) and Trey in May had a few less people but it was ing HOT!
I could really go for EDM adopting some sort of lot scene! :D |

What is this lot scene you speak of?
It sounds like something I'd probably be interested in? |
