any idea on how much tickets are going to be?

my guess would be ~$30

this is a pretty sweet lineup for Milwaukee, i may have to go. i'm definitely leaning more towards this than Zabiela.

Yeah... I feel dirty for even calling "The Rave..."

:(

I will most assuredly not be spinning at this event... the finances of it/benefits just don't seem to be something I can work out right now...

BTW: To any of the other DJ's who called the Rave, is this usually how things work to get booked? Pay to play?

**sigh**

The info I got from Justin @ the Rave today:

$32 for tickets
7 Stages
45 minute sets from locals
Oakey and Deep Dish headline....

Of all places Milkwaukee... guess in small places they can attract big names.

The deal is, you pay $500 for 25 tickets, and then you are supposed to go out and sell them to help promote the show, you can charge $20 if you just want to make your money back, or charge face, $32, and make some loot...

In any event, I can't really afford to pay $500 out of pocket for a 45 minute set, even with the possibility of making the cash back...

Edit 1: Add to this, that It's now looking more and more like I'll be in Europe visiting Danielle during this time, and I don't think I'll get to see DD in Milwaukee... but **fingers crossed** I think my cousin got us tix for Sensation White on 7/2, so I'll gladly take Armin and David Guetta instead :D

^ hmmm... i would contemplate this... if i had money lying around and more confidence in my mixing..

sensation white huh. damn rob.. first ibiza, now sensation. damn.
