good looks & great personality a nono?

Why do the chicks with who are the smartest and have the deepest and most amazing personalities always tend to look kinda average and below average even…??
It sucks… there are times when I meet chicks who I know I can get along with so well, coolest personality ever, and they are really into me and everything… but I just cant have anything with them other than just being friends because im simply not attracted…
Yeah, I meet some good looking chicks as well, but can't see myself being in a long term relationship cus they miss the personality aspect.
Do those things always have to contradict each other? good looks and great personality? |

| I met this chick at a club, i had no intentions of giving her my number, so she ended up giving me hers. She wasnt like ugly, maybe like 20 lbs over weight, kinda cute, great personality. But when it boiled down to things, i just couldnt see myself with her. She liked me alot, so much in fact that our second date she intro'd me to her parents, thats also about the time i decided, WTF. She did give great head though... |

Hmmm, every girl i ever dated had great looks as well as alot of dept with a great personality, well at least with the personality thing at first. |

I find that a lot, there are two girls at my work, i can really get on with them as freinds but i feel they want more, but to be honest they do not interest me in that way, might be a bit shallow but if i'm not attracted to them what can i do? so i'm with you for the moment, Good looks and good personality are very rare, when i do find birds like this they always have boyfriends. (no suprise there).
I hope to one day find one that is single

No, but there are some... you need to come to the University of Victoria and study Linguistics - I've met a few that fit the description in that department :D Even some that showed some signs of interest ;) I shall pick that back up in September :D |

well if ur idea of good looks is a girl who has a perfectly tanned and chiseled body with big knockers and long, pretty platinum hair who is amazing in bed, but can't hold a conversation...lol usually those kind of girls are very shallow and only date shallow guys because they dont have anything else to offer except what i just described.
but i've met a few chicks who were more down-to-earth looking and had awesome personalities...their looks weren't average to me though because i usually embrace exotic or weird (to the rest of shallow society) features and think they look hot.
a good example is Claire Danes in the modern Romeo & Juliet. she kinda has a big nose and her hair was like plain jane light brown color and hardly any make up...but man, i just thought she defined "beauty" in that movie.
she was even really cute in "My So Called Life"... |
