LOL!!!

I know how you feel being short…you get the elbows in the head, and the armpits in the face…it’s great! Haha And tell me about looking gross!! I looked so disgusting after an hour or so!! It as the first time for me to meet a lot of the TAs in person as well…so I know how you feel about the first impressions!! Haha…I’ll have to be sure to meet up with you all some other time when we’re not partying…or early on in the night, so I’m not all sweaty and cracked out yet!!

It was great to finally meet you in person!! I thought I recognized you when I saw you in the bathroom! You’re right, we did have a nice little chi-chat! Then we got our groove on on the dance floor! Glad you could make a safe trip down to Toronto to see Tiesto and meet all of us! I hope to see you again soon!! :)

HATED how he just walked off at the end...I remember Fahad saying something about "I wonder how much longer tiesto will play" I laughed and told him that tiesto had been off for a good 20 minutes....fahad looked up and saw the montreal guy spinning: he didn't even know teiesto had left!! That was a real douchbag move on tiesto's part!!!

I agree here as well. The same thing happened to me…I was flippin’ out…bustin’ a move to the last track he played…which I REALLY REALLY hope someone finally IDs…but next thing I know, Josh is like “Tiesto’s done” and I’m like “No he’s not!” and I look up and that other guy was spinning! What’s up with that?! C’mon Tiesto…explanation here!!

Couldn't have been really good E... I was on some (okay a lot of) phenominal E and I wasn't chanting.

and look at you breaking out the French... all sophisticated and !

My review,

We arrived around 10 to beat the crowd and enjoy the nice patio weather and a few drinks before the madness with ideal chatter if it was going to be busy, crazy, etc, in comparison to previous Tiesto shows. As most people have already said, it was very, very busy. The madness near the stage was something out of a mosh pit, tons of pushing, shoving. I've never been to an electronic event, where it seemed more like an open air rock concert, packed full of so many rude people? The tiesto call outs? After the first 10 minutes or so i had enough, I can understand peoples excitement, but come on, it was going on during the whole night, get a life.

We retreated to the back to enjoy some space, and breathing room, and what seemed to be a happier crowd back there. To those that had smiles and idle chatter, thanks, and hi. However, being in the back, there was a definite difference in the sound, not sure if it was just the distance from the stage or simply the sound system. Night highlights have to be flight 643, and universal nation just to name a few.

Pics to follow.

That's were I was and I suspect most of the true partiers. Despite the poor sound, I'd rather be able to dance to the music then see the DJ.

Appreciate the DJ all you want. But there's a difference between appreciating and worshipping. The behaviour of some people at the party and on this board is what I would expect from your typical Britney Spears fans. When you lose the ability to judge a party or a set objectively just because it's a specific DJ, there's a problem. People have been saying "the sound sucked and the crowd sucked but it was still the bestest night of my life!!!!!!!1" Either they've lost the ability to be critical because they worship Tiesto so much, or they had some really goooooood e, or they really need to get out more! Or maybe even all 3.

Don't get me wrong, this behaviour isn't what ruined the party for me, the bull sound did that. I'd just like to see people be a little more critical and start to hold promoters responsible for their actions. If they hear nothing but positive feedback, they'll think everything was "good enough" and they don't need to fix anything for next time.

Like starsearcher said, and I agree. I have no problems people who "worship" someone like Tiesto, but again, they dont really worship him. They just really enjoy him and the tracks he lays down.
I know if I was a big DJ id love to get some feedback like that instead of nothing. I think most would. You know what you are doing has an affect on people.
Now obviously crazy teenie bopper kind of antics is a bit much but I didnt really see people going that far.

The sound certainley needed work but i tried not to let that ruin my night. you paid $50 to be there and Tiesto did deliver imo, so I just tried to enjoy it the best I could, and I did. (Even with the sub par sound)

Tiesto gets enough negative feedback from the people with inferiority complexes so no worries about that

ok Guys,
since everybody is bitching and complaining about the Tiesto chants here is something worth mentioning- being in the very front I distinctly remember ( it was still at the time when my brain was very clear...) before Tiesto came up, the Montreal DJ getting ppl all excited and raved up, he totally encouraged the yelling and chanting that went on for next two hrs. When ppl got quite he would gesture with hands to keep on chanting- that's how it all got started- anybody from the front agrees with me?
At first it really, really annoyed me but with time I kinda got used to it and didn't even know when I started to chant TIES-TO too. So guys, its not like we were worshiping him, it just kinda worked out this way- at least for me, I kinda followed the crowd there for a while- then started to dance and ignored everyone.
plus lets try to remember that everyone enjoys great moments differently- some ppl by chanting- i heard that its very therapeutical:tongue2

Ya i remember that as well. however there was a point during adagio when some idiots behind me started chanting TIESTY, TIESTY. I even have it on video. who the hell is TIESTY.
I dont have a problem with chanting, but when someone does it they should at least have a clue about whats coming out of their mouth.

guess thats what happens when an event is advertised on z1035.

btw i think they were trying to chant TIJS :)
