| Some eye witness viewer saying the plane cracked in half and went up in flames as soon as it hit the creek....so this is REALLY bad... |

| apparently it got hit by lightning.... they are saying 60 people got off the plane. |

| Phone interview on CP24 with friend of a passenger on the plane. She said most of the ppl got out. Not sure of causalities as of yet. |

The engines run aviation kerosene fuel.
If any of you have toyed with kerosene, it's sticky and oily... No wonder it's burning like it is. |

I was in the line at the Air Canada check in desk at the time of the crash... I was told that the flight was cancelled due to weather and was rebooked in the AM... took a cab home and there is CHAOS on the roads - glad I got out of there just in time!

I drove by on the 401 east musta been minutes after it hit...
The rain was so thick that you couldnt see past the highway but the dark grey smoke went right over the highway...I could smell it in my car....
It was so bad that I was driving at 20 kph and everyone had their flashers on...
Just to give you an idea of the weather at the time... |
