traffic is screwed everywhere. 401 west is backed up way past Scarborough |

so today i had to drive my friends to the airport for their 6pm flight back to norway...i decided to aim to be there at 4pm sharp! my friend was freaking out about the weather conditions and continuallu reminding me about how she didnt want to leave today...anyways (i was early) the rain was pelting both on my way there and back...at times it was hard to see anything infront of me...all i could see wete lights. the sky became incrediably dark. as i was pulling on to the 407 east ramp...i heard it on the news. that a plane had gone down ... just a few miles behind me. when i got home as i watched the footage i prayed that everyone got of the plane safely and that my friends who were at the airport weren't too scared about flying back home.
it was close...and kinda scarying hearing about what had happened just moments after i left.

Damn, no wonder it was so crowded on 401 when i left from work to home.
Talk about divine intervention and everyone survived! thank you god:D |

| All in all happy about this one. A good thing came out of a bad situation, everyones alive and well. Been watching the news since I got home from work where I first heard about the crash. Its funny though, nothing really surprises me anymore when it comes to these sort of things. I guess thats just the world we live in today and that scares me. |

Just drove by the crash site not too long ago (9ish) coming home from work and I still saw thick smoke and lotsa fire trucks and stuff. Hwy westbound still looked RAMMED.
Was gonna take a pic with my phone...but almost crashed into a truck who slowed down to see it:nervous:
glad to hear everyone's alright... horrible weather out there today... especially around that particular area. Made me 30min late for work today.:mad: |
