My dad's friend had a Grand National AND a Regal T-Type back when they were new. Fool got rid of them in the '90s :whip:
Theres a guy in my area who has a 20th ann. Trans Am with the turbo/intercooled V6. Sweet rides indeed. |

SVT has a miss for every hit they've created...The Lightening was good...and the Cobra too...the Focus and Contour...not so much.
Mazdaspeed and Mopar are doing great things...I wish Ford would step up to the plate with their cars in the same way.
They rarely did with the Mustang over the year, constantly trailing in the power/performance wars...mainly because they outsold the competition 2:1...so why should they care.
Even so...I'd drive a Mustang over a Camaro/Firebird ANY day ;) |

| Mazdaspeed not so much - they really need more intensive engine work to be even considered serious - just doing the body mods (practically) isn't cutting it. As much as I love Mazda, Mazdaspeed sucks - I was hoping that the Mazdaspeed RX-8 would be insane, but it's meh, in full sense of the word. |

Reason they out sold is cause they were/are cheap!
I'll cut my nuts off before I drive a Mustang built in the last 35 years...

the only Ford ill ever buy would be this 1974 Ford Falcon XB from Australia (mustang counter part from downunder) the MadMax kit would be kick ass too, supercharger and all :eyes:

The Mazdaspeed6 (whatever they are calling it) looks good though...a bit pricy, but a nice effort...compare that to what Ford did with the Focus and Contour...a few measley hp for a lot more money...now that's "meh" :D |

The only external mods on this Z is rubber+rims, paint and fiberglass hood. nothing else,otherwise it looks stock as any 1991 Z28 |
