Kalsonic, if you were a true Skyline fan, you'd hate this car, cause it looks nothing like the previous models, an in my opinion, a load worse than the R34, R33, or even the R32. Maybe I'll grow into it.

It's just not an terribly practical choice for Canadians unless you have another car for the winter...and you don't mind that gas prices continue to soar.

Personally I'd take something with AWD (like a Subaru) over the 'stang any day if I had to deal with winter. WRX or Legacy GT all year long > 'stang in the summer and a beater in the winter ;)

I concur!

The latest design is awesome! :toocool:

How many things are wrong with this paragraph?

Imports far from suck.
I'm not the biggest import fan. I'm a huge fan of the muscle era. Those are simply the cars I like. BUT I will say that imports are very well built and (for the most part) reliable cars. Also very fun to drive.

Hemi's are fantastic engines and have been since the 1960s. I'm glad Chrysler brought them back. It gave the company the kick it needed to get back in the race

Now this is personal! My dad worked for GM for 20 years and we've had everything from a '77 Cutlass with a 305 and T-tops all the way down to my dads Tracker. None of these cars had given us any real problems. (yes I had to scrap my Tempest earlier this year but it was 15 years old and had its day) Whenever you get your Ford I'll take you on in my Trans Am any day!

I really love the R34, but due to our laws here I cant import one to Canada or I would of done that years ago. The R35 pics I posted isnt the finished product of the Infiniti GTR but a prototype. Yeah its not much to look at now, I sure hope it will live up to the name thats for sure.

Only skyline we can legally own here is the R32 model, and im not such a big fan of that particular model.

sorry for hijacking this FORD thread ;)

Check out fords GTR...

Fittingly, the concept car is powered by a 500-hp 5.0-liter V-8, which is based on a Ford “crate” engine — so named because it offers high performance in a box. Ford builds and sells the engines for $14,995 each to enthusiasts who want to do their own customizing.

The GT-R was built in Troy, Mich., by Saleen Specialty Vehicles, which has its own connection with Mustang. Its California-based parent company, Saleen Inc., is Ford’s largest Mustang customer. It buys and customizes about 1,000 Mustang models annually and resells them at prices ranging from $36,669 to $150,000.
