only theres other threads about his on other forums which some people would have hope like me it would have happend... but its not about that.
maybe if you didn't told me at Sofia that it was Armin, it would have been a different story.

would u be able to tell who is doin the gig (lets say tiesto or ferry) if none of their own productions is played (no traffic and punk for example)? :) |

i think that every dj has their own style of songs they play, aside from their productions. they have their own sound, which sets the tone of their set, imo. some sets that tiesto and ferry have spun have probably sounded similar, while others, completely different. i just tend to like ferry's track selection much more than say, tiesto's. i will never say that tiesto isn't talented, his music has never blown me away like other dj's have. |

Charlie,
I took my friends who did not like edm to Swirl 2002 to see Mauro Picotto & Max Graham. They loved it. After that, i tried to convince them to come to Aria to see local boys Preach & Yaz on a resident night. They kept saying "who the are these guys, forget it, if it's not mauro or someone big forget it". Now, the same guys are dying to come see Preach on Friday all of a sudden now that he's not only a "local dj" anymore.
Moral of the story: Nick Pilon, DJ Kal & King Louis could one day blow up just like Preach did. Have faith in your locals. In my opinion, we have some of the best local dj's around. It's known internationanaly that Montreal has lots of talent in edm. Aria is known to blow these locals up.

Haven't heard Louis yet, but judging from his mixes on TA, he can seriously spin.
I'll still be @ circus with some newbie friends, due to the fact that ive never seen him live. :D
But i hope those who cant go to Tiesto or dont want to go, support our local boys. |

| Kal is a local dj...who play techno music. He produced some track that was chart by Mauro Picotto and other big name. So, he have enough talent to ride the crowd of aria that night!! |
