I usually just play Devil's Advocate, when someone flames a club I try to bring up the reasons why the club is good. I see Circus being flamed unfairly here, I'd defend Aria just the same.
Personally I think Aria and Stereo bring more -substance- to the scene but the residents at Circus are mainly local DJs that finally have the chance to spin regularily at an afterhour venue. |
Honestly.. I have never been to any other afterhours club in Montreal other than Aria. My very first afterhours club experience was at Aria (even before I went to Guvernment).. July or August 2003 and Sasha was spinning... so I don't know anything other than Aria and personally.. I love it there! :)
But the novelty of new clubs will wear off too.. it is only a matter of time.. that is how it is with everything. |

and eventually I will get there when they throw a party with a dj I REALLY want to see :p
So far Aria has always done the job with having the dj's I want to see.. (hence Preach in October.. w00t w00t :D) |

sasha played at the end of august in 2003 :p i still remember because i left something like 30 or 45 minutes after he started spinning (with Mazen and Raul tellimg me i'm a wuss) :p |
