i dun have ur digits but after the oh * confused face * comment for a sec i did stop and thought w0w Jen is really gonna be pissed now for not coming lolz. but a few moments later i found out that wasnt the real sasha and everyone was just gathering around because they heard mike and sasha r out on the patio lolz . funny s i tell ya. them 5 minutes were to be there for just for the laughs hahahahaha |

After some much needed rest, a couple of espresso's, alot of M.I.K.E. mp3's (how predictable?) and some time to gather my thoughts.... here is the review.
Got to the club around 12:15ish to hear Key banging out some nice proggy tunes. I recognized immediately that the sound had been much improved since my first visit to the club (for Cor/Mark Norman). I bumped into Tyler (Trancegrooves) and he seemed to be as pumped or more as I was for this which didn't hurt my expectations for the night. I liked Key's tracklisting.... but I realised that every song he was belting out was from Armin's Universal Religion 2004. Maybe it was on purpose, maybe it was coinsodence, or maybe I just blew his cover.:p
Tygon was up next and really impressed me. Tim was playing some very proper harder tunes that was really appropriate for the setting. I'll even go as far to say that it was suitable enough that he could have done a Tygon vs. M.I.K.E. since the sounds together would have been a magical blend of hard energy. Keep up the good work Tim!!
Now on to the man!! M.I.K.E...... I can't think of any words that would justify how great of a performer this guy is. The biggest pet peeve (more like disillusion) that people will complain about M.I.K.E. is how he isn't half as good a DJ as he is a producer. If anyone who was in the front of the dancefloor at Viva last night will tell you, there is no doubt in the world that this man can DJ like very few others. He is melodic, deep, vocally and banging all the time and it drove everyone crazy. The vibe he brought to the TA section of the dancefloor was the best I've felt in this country by miles. I could see the look on alot of people's faces that just couldn't believe the kind of energy they were experiencing. Some noticable tracks by me that I don't think have been mentioned are...

I don't think I need to go on anymore and write about how good the night was last night! All I have to say for those who missed it is don't miss the next time M.I.K.E. is in town!!!!
INSANITY all over the place last night and once again the TA's owned the dance floor FRONT & CENTER!!!!
Tyler and Reza - special thanks to you guys for pumping me up so much for this event, it definately did not dissapoint!!
Nada - we had our dual on the dance floor last night and boy did we ever enjoy it!! Awsome to see you again and dance it up with you and I'll definately c u 2nite girl!! Call ya in a bit.
