Well, because when I compare your original post to the post with the added stuff, I see someone who would have made their point just fine the first time.
Seems like the extras were added because you wanted to further inflate yourself. While the things you said are sharp, they are superfluous and antagonizing. I don't see the point in being antagonistic unless you want to further argue and therefore display yourself.

What did you do, save my old post and are now comparing it to my new one? Heh. I believe I have cleaned up and made more accurate and/or clear my points in the new post that parallel points from the old post. I also addressed one or two other issues that I missed in the first. I made a few mistakes in the first post that I had to get rid of. And I don't see where I was antagonistic. My language was very neutral. Is it not? I mean, if you look at it objectively.
There were several parts tribu's post that seemed very antagonistic though. Like the "people like you" comment and "do you have a PHD in bla bla bla". |

And no, I don't think your words are neutral at all. Considering the tone of the discussion between you and tribu, the things you said come off as snarky and arrogant.

Well i'm sorry you interpret my phrases in that way. In the first I was simply agreeing with what he said, nothing more. In the second I was going to leave it at "deal with it" because he doesn't seem to want to pay attention to it. But then I realized he probably won't deal with it regardless of what I say, so I added "or don't". Again I don't really understand why you consider them to be antagonizing.

How you or anyone else interpret what I say is not my problem or responsibility. All I can tell you is that I meant no antagonism and that there doesn't seem to me to be any inherent antagonism in what I said. No need to apologize. You didn't do anything wrong.
