So does anyone actually like Experience by The Prodigy?

And could you please tell me why? Despite how much oldschool I listen to, no matter how back into music history I go, this album remains one of the most dated and amateurish one I've ever heard.
Their second album was a huge improvement. |

| I agree that I don't like the album, but the singles released from the album are filled with great remixes and "bonus" tracks. I think Experience has all the test versions of the tunes. |

This was the fIrst vinyl record I ever bought and the first type of music I ever actually liked.
Yes today it sounds dated- at the time It most certainly was not.
The raw energy in it show through very clearly- and the energy and vibe was what rave culture was all about (proper rave- not the thing americans tend to call a rave nowadays) |

Considering what electronic music sounded back when this album was made I'd say that's one of the dumbest statements I've ever heard. |

Some people need to remember that the overall sound in tracks made 13 years ago sounds as good as stuff made now at times, when it wasn't easy to make stuff cos you couldn't just crack a well known program & go from there. the guy needs to grow up & accept that while he doesn't like it, nobody who does gives a |

First. It doesn't matter what it sounded like back then. It sounds amateurish and cheap NOW.
And secondly it wasn't that good back then either. There were plenty of better made stuff even then. |
