Sorry to hear that I missed what I'm sure was an incredible time, even if the heat and the crows reached 'Tiesto at Avalon' levels and a lot of kids got turned away. Maybe next time Made should move PVD to an even bigger venue - Hammerstein Ballroom? Theather at MSG?

I stayed up here in CT where I checked out Steve Porter, who kicked ass with a nice house / prog. set, but I'm sure it was no comparison to Roxy. I plan on making to Oakenfold and / or Tiesto on Thanksgiving weekend and hope to see a good number of you there.

can't get enough of paul :D

glad the attendees enjoyed themselves. considering pvd has been generally subpar this year, it's good to hear he dropped a bomb set :)

now where da tracklist at?

Yeah, the cops came when people started yelling to be let in after waiting on line for nearly 2 hours. What can I say? It was an exodus of some really pissed off people. But if you hung out at the diner on the corner or just avoided the cops in general (who continually told people to GO HOME!), they started letting people in after the cops left, though admittedly it wasn't all that many people left. That was around 3:30, luckily for me since my ride was already inside. But definitely a nice set and that encore of Mindcircus was off the f'ing hook.

Track of the night: Freefall - Skydive
DJ Eco
wow... an amazing night, truly mindblowing beats from start to finish... surprisingly good (and different, by New York standards) opening set from Jerry Bonham, some nice acid, breaks, and dark prog, i was LOVING it.... if u saw me, i was the one with the white shirt and gold lettering "big daddy hustler" and the white hat hahaha... but yeah, PvD was just toooooooo good.... and, cmon, you gotta be not that smart to think you can get into PvD @ Roxy past 1AM, i dont care if youre the owner of ClubPlanet, it was just so packed, it was physically impossible to let anybody in....

....on another note, did ne1 see those business men at the VIP table along the dancefloor nearest to the main entrance (right by the speakers) hahaha i thought they were pretty funny... some 45-50 year olds in suits drinking martinis with 20 year old asian chicks, while bopping out to Paul Van Dyk, soo funny.... crowd was decent, a lot of FOBs but what canya do, ive grown used to it.... just put ur shirt on tho, please, i dont care how hot it is.... they shoulda turned those god dam fans on, it was just beyond unbearable... also got to say hi to Peri of Filo and Peri, really nice guy....

my tunes of the night

"summer dream" (White Room remix and then faded into original? mix)
"close horizon" by Tomas Bronzwaer
"pictures" by Maas and PvD remix
"i feel wonderful" by Cosmic Gate/Johnston dunno which remix
"must have been a dream" by Drax/Scott Mac and Mac Zimms remix
"yeah" by Steve Angello/Seb Ingrosso
"ghost" by Deepsky/Jes and Filo and Peri mix

some tunes by Jerry Bonham
"discopolis" by i forget who
and some more i gotta remember, i ID'd a bunch of tracks he player, he did a sick job... loved the moments of acid and breaks... too good, and very refreshing from a DJ outside of NYC giving us stuff we never hear in clubs
Dirichlet
ok... here it is
GADDDAM ! ! ! ! :eyes:

just got back to Baltimre (10:50am) - left here at 9pm last night for the show... still haven't slept... I'm amazed I didn't fall asleep @ the wheel after dancing for six continuous hours...

met phuzzyfish12 (happy b-day again) - saw some faces that looked familiar, but was content to just dance my ass off... lol, I danced so hard for about an hour straight that I started gaggin' (and I was piss sober the whole time)

I liked how there were three 'acts' to the set... you know if you were there

Fav of the Night : Murder Was the Bass ! ! !

And Paul, once again,
Thank you:toocool:

I understand that DJ Eco but I actually got there a little past 12 and had to get on a seperate line from my friends because i was the only one with an online ticket (wasn't sure I'd be able to make it till thursday). And get this...They cut the line off for the backdoor right in front of me a.k.a. I was the next person across the street to go to the backdoor and guess what? They decided to shut the back doors and made it so everyone had to go on the same line to get in. So I was shuffled with everyone else in shocked amazement to the main line, and the rest you know: Fire dept.>Angry party goers>Cops>Lines dissolved. :conf: :(

DJ Eco
yeah, around that time, they made the backdoor a smoking area and moved the front door as one and only entrance.... that really messed things up... the 2 door system was working well until that happened
