Jelo.
Go see him live at pride one year and you'll see what i'm talking about.
fyi- Miss kittin sucked hard. I wouldn't have minded the attitude, if she played better tracks.
Chris Liberator was awesome. Really really cute. Smiling and dancing.
That Brazillian Dj who resided at System for a bit - great energy but needs to work more on his sets.
yeah
always jelo. |

I wish that someone would finally decide to do that. I'd be at their club every week.
So the fanboys and DJ whores won't show up... I'd rather party without them anyway. No offense to anyone here. Some DJs are respected because they consistently throw down good sets and talk to the audience to make the night more interesting, but most of the popular ones are just worshipped like rock stars; waving one's hands in the air frantically does not constitute crowd interaction or performance skill. |
if the DJ isn't interacting *at all* (remembering that interaction is goes both ways), that means they aren't even reading the crowd and are just sticking to some pre-selected set.
why not just throw on a CD of the DJ instead of paying them to spin? ;)
I will agree that I can't stand the over zealous "fanboys" you mention though...the "Tiesto is God" sign waving lunatics who hinge on every movement of the DJ as if they are the messiah, lol. |

If a DJ is having fun, dancing, moving - it adds to my enjoyment of their perforance (knowing that they're rocking out just as much as I am). It's about a collective experience - knowing that people are participating at the same emotional level as you. |
Right on the money RJ.
It's the reason I became such a huge ARMIN fan.
No one can compare to his level of postivity and interaction.
Mark's def right with Deko-Ze locally as well |
