i really didnt rate the room...i only got a few levels in but i found it way too boring and i never went back to it.
2 was the best one imo, it changed the graphics so much, and the story was really intriging [sp]. i think i got most of the endings for that game:clown:
and the twist at the end when you find out it was you who killed your wife,.....ftw i believe:toothless |
2 was awesome!!
The Room does begin out boring & there's sooo much walking around & secrets but it has like 3 endings & it's REALLY hard to get the good one cuz the girl (the neighbor Eileen I think her name was) goes around with you & in order to get the good ending you cannot let her get hit so much during the entire game, if not she walks faster at the end...so you have to kill the boss before she fully walks into this machine that kills her & takes her soul (she volunteers a little before the end)...it sounds weird but it all ties up in the end...I think you have to be really strategic & you DEF have to play more than once. |

UUU Turn.
-Syriana-
A film bloated with twists, turns and curbs. But ahh! I didn't get it? What exactly did he do that for? Who were they? Were they good or bad? Who's side was America on? But, but the Koran and and did the Prince hire a hit on his brother? I can't believe they turned on Clooney and but huh ENOUGH. enough. ENOUGH!!!
Let it ride. Corruption is engrained in our very fingerprints. We understand it all, all very, very too well, but tell ourselves differently. Now that the problem has been voiced so many times as to become a sort of white noise, let's focus on the solutions shall we? 8/10.
Does that persuade anyone to see it? |

...but how did they up Doom exactly? It's not like the games were ground-breaking in any way. |
Doom was very groundbreaking actually. |

This movie HAS to live up to the game...The entire series are the BEST horror games to ever be invented.

I too am an obsessed Silent Hill fan. I own and finished all of the games, seeing nearly all of the various endings. My favorite parts of the series are the ambience each game is able to create and definitely the music. Silent Hill 2 has one of the best soundtracks to a game/movie ever, imo.
I've been eagerly awaiting this movie for nearly 2 years now, my friend and I actually had a countdown going for when the official website was going live (Dec 5th). If this turns out to be even remotely good I'll probably be making a few trips to the theaters to see it. |

a rundown:
Christoper Gans is directing the film that he himself brought to the table of executives at the film studios. After playing several of the games, he did everything he could to get a film adaptation. Ok, every movie based on a game has sucked, bla bla bla. True. However, the reason that the promise is still here:
1. Gans went to the developers, Team Silent Hill, to get the thumbs up. That, in itself, keeps my hopes up. (btw, the game is loosely based on SH1, with elements of the other games.
2. Despite MANY (and i mean MANY) rumors, Akira Yamaoka will be making the music for the film. I've only listened to the SH4 soundtrack and fallen in love with certain peices, especially Room of Angel. (Room of Angel got a remix from Carl B)
3. Watch the teaser. The official website has a low quality version. Search the net and you can find the mov/wmv formats. At the end of the teaser, you'll be given a glimpse of everyone's favorite enemy.
tentative release date in april 2006 |

Silent Hill 2, hands-down, has the best soundtrack of the series. I like it more than most movie scores/soundtracks even. It is simply one of the most beautiful atmospheric collections of music to date.
I think the points that the director has actually played and enjoyed the games, he has gotten the ok from team Silent Hill and some imput from them, and Akira Yamaoka working on the soundtrack will make this game-to-movie adaptation worthwhile. |
