They ed up the Doom movie because, From a story standpoint, It was nothing like the game, The only things that was in the movie that was in the game was the BFG, The First Person View, And the Hellknights. But whats really messed up, The movie's storyline was not anything like the game whats so ever, In the game, a portal to hell opened up in the facility on Mars and it started to unleash all kinds of creatures from hell and possessing some of the people that were at the facility turning them into Zombies, Then these marines were sent to stop what was happening and attempt to close the portal before they reached Earth. In the movie, It was just all about genetic mutations that went horribly wrong. The problem with video game movies nowadays, Is that they would hire someone to write the story who doesn't know a thing about the games nor play them. |

what surprises me most is that the studio has given all the direction of the film to the person most crucial, the actual director. |

Video game movies can be done right, If the person whose writing the script, Actually played the games, Rather then looking at whats on the game and built a story based on what is shown in game. Heres a good example on what happens when you get someone whose never played the game try to do a movie adaption of it, See below.

The trailer is siiiiiiiiick!! The graphics looks bad ass & the monsters look pretty good. I just hope the movie is good because trailers can be deceiving.

Personally, it was that transitory inclusion of FPS view that ed a large portion of the movie up. |

the internet posters for Silent Hill. I don't know if they will be appearing in theaters like the one with the little girl. I was also able to find the leaked video, sorta sucked. It cuts off at the good part.
