| god , I tried looking for a midnight premier show but there isn't one here in san diego. Now i have to see it tomorrow in the afternoon. :( |

that i think is really cool; because i'm so sick of movies were everything is all digital and CGI graphics galore and they almost replace actors themselves.
so to hear that apparently a lot of the zombies and creatures are actual PEOPLE i think is pretty cool.
Roger Ebert gave this movie 1.5 stars [:(]- but based most of that off the fact that he hasn't played the game [but also commented on how stunning the visuals were - to include great cinematography as well].

| Just finished watching it. In my opinion the most original horror movie in years and I never played the games. The visuals in this movie were unbelievable and will be a part of my dvd collection just because of that. Some are saying the plot is too confusing for non-silent hill gamers but I disagree and if you have any comprehension you should be able to follow it easy. I am a horror fan but I dont watch every single horror movie released but this was my favorite horror in years. I think this will be a love it or hate it movie for young adults and a dislike it but recognize the awesome visuals for critics. |

| i thought it was absolutely kick ass all the way until the Revenge act. I didn't understand the final scene at all. When you reach Silent Hill, there is no escape??? Rose seeemed pretty happy/content to be trapped in that world. |
