| I'm a law clerk at a firm downtown. I like it, mostly. The work is interesting anyhow, the hours ... not so much. |

I just got boned by my company again. I went from a shift work Union Technical Operations job to a Mon - Fri 9-5 contract to schedule production staff.
I froze my union dues so I don't qualify for my 2.5% raise (which sucks, because it would have meant more money in my pocket), but I don't qualify for the group rrsp becuase I'm considered "union".
My company has a PIP bonus in April that I'd better get. Or I tear off heads. |

i pretty much hate it - work with boring people, in a boring place, and the job is entirely unrewarding - and with little prospect of exciting change. |
sounds like my old job, i was doing civil engineering, glad i'm out of that. |

i'm an illustrator/designer for a corporate fashion consulting company.
meh. my job is ok, cos i get to illustrate people all day and research fashion trends, but i am not challenged enough, nor am i paid what i am worth. it's also not what i want to be doing for the rest of my life. i could go on and on about the negatives, but i won't today.
i do some occasional freelance graphic design stuff on the side. |

I am currently an Account Executive for HSBC Finance.
I'm a mortgage and loans/LOC specialist, as well as collections for all Real Estate Accounts (so if you don't pay your mortgage, I will be the nasty one calling you) :D
I like my job sometimes and other times I don't. I would like to go into something new, exciting and completely different then the field I am in now and will be working towards this in the next couple of years. (or going back to school in the next couple of years but in Europe)
I think my ideal job would be to be a flight attendant and travel the world :D |
