- also on-call catering staff @ the St Andrews Conference Centre;

Sales, Marketing and Media consulting for an American firm that contrats out its services to different companies. I absolutly love every second of it, as i get to teach and/or tell old fat dirty rich bastards how to run their companies and make more money :D Some times it gets a bit stressful but then again thats what makes it interesting for me.

I am currently working for a Custom Glassblowing company. We specialize in Industrial Chemical setups and Distribution of Raw tubing and Rod. (of course a majority of our distribution goes to bong and pipe operations) :)

I am responsible for all shipping, receiving, inventory control and Quality Control.

Love my job, everyday is different, very casual setting, I got winamp blasting away on my computer (to which the boss always replies "welcome to club Pegasus), watching tv shows and movies on my computer while doing repetitive bench work.. I get paid very well. If the boss found out my TA handle, no biggie.. He already knows me as Tokeroo PHD.THC. (gaming handle).

The best part is I know next year, i will be the shop manager. it's comforting when the boss says "I'll take care of yah".

I am actually looking for an assistant, packaging and baggin/taggin skid orders. if interested drop me a PM. We are located in Cambridge.

Currently I'm working in the Math Group on a package that handles algebraic computations, with some brand new algorithms developed by a team at a university. It's very technical, but a lot of fun; the people working there are very intelligent and really nice, most of whom have PHDs in Mathematics. It pays pretty well too, for a co-op job. Plus, it's a pretty small company (I think <200 employees and not publicly traded) that was started by a few people from the University of Waterloo.

But yeah. Great job. Very challenging and a ton of fun. Love every minute of it. Got free Fritters today too.

I'm a software engineer for a defense contractor, so we deal with the Canadian DND but since the company's French, my team works for the French/NATO navy. They're getting a new email system on their ships and subs, so that's what I'm working on currently. Can't tell you more, or I'd have to kill you:whip:
Do I love it? Hmm, it pays ok, and yeah I do enjoy it a lot... but I know I can do much better:gsmile:

Pilot out of Toronto (yyz). This was the job I dreamed of while I suffered for years in Pickle Lake, Sioux Lookout, Fort McMurray and Buffalo Narrows gaining the experince I'd need to get the job down here. It won't be the job that I'll retire from, but it's definately not a bad place to work.

Currently working for the man (aka a car company) as admin for calibration firm. It pays the bills but applying to graduate school for Fall 2006.

Current candidates for grad school include: U of Colorado @ Boulder, Northern Arizona U, U of Massachusetts, and possibly U of Montana @ Missoula and one more. Thus far, one professor at UC Colorado is interested in research applying to stream modeling and agricultural effects. At NAU, a prof is calling me this week about doing research on tribal regulation of natural resources (watersheds) on National Park Service land.

I keep telling myself it's only a temp job till July and thank god that is correct! :)
