i agree with igk about the little annoying bits in recent episodes, including bringing Tony back just to kill him off, but more so, i think they're just building up the tension. Jack is finally not able to deal with all of it and, finally, we see him breaking down, or starting to.

I think it's either an indication that it'll all be wrapped up in a few episodes time for good, or that they'll bring in new people who we'll see for a couple of series etc in the same way this old lot have, in a way they're tying up loose ends to enable it to move on imo. then again i don't know the future plans for more seasons etc |
