un bref review du gros party
la soirée commence vers les 11h, mekroon, piper et moi on va dans un karaoké pour la fete dun ami....ark...on est resté quoi....15 min?
si plate...on se piece au blue dog pour commencer la soirée avec du bon DnB....la musique était vraiment nice...lambiance qui fite avec la musique...ctait nice...a part quon pensait que yavait un genre de preparty wtv....finalement, ya que 4 peurfs, ninja et piett au rendez vous....
on sen va au aria vers 2h....skip le lineup thx to ninja
quand meme long pour se faire fouiller....pas trop grave, on arrive en dedans pendant le set de louis
si peurf, siiii peurf le set de louis, ca pompé le crowd solide avant junkie XL....
a 3h30 quand XL rentre....hmm...cest le mometn de chiller en arriere du booth....jai vraiment pas aimer ce quil jouait...vraiment décevant....la fin du set était pas pire par contre....plus tech...pour ensuite faire place a la machine....MAUROO
my god...le début si hard, si peurf..ensuite plus relax, plus fackall...pis tellement old school a la fin, y pop BACK TO CALI, LIKE THIS LIKE THAT' NEW TIME NEW PLACE....ahaha

fairmont - gazebo mixed unbelievably well with techno tracks in & out (i never thought he would be able to handle such a hard to mix track so easily)
im not gonna try to recall everything i know he played cause anyway theres just a few
ill i can say is that theres not many Djs that i actually ENJOY to dance & listen to for 6 hours:eyes:
Mauro doesnt dance much during a performance but im sure he plays way more than jxl so u get used to it i dont know...
he dropped sick tracks, mostly tech but not repetitive techno tracks
he mixed like :crazy:
nice to party with the TAs

Awww man, what a crazy night, Louis I've never really seen you spin a full set (caught a glimpse once at Living) but man, I'm sure there was no better way to start off the night then the way you did. I was only there 30 mins, and even though it wasnt't too packed yet, I knew the whole night was gonna be insane.
I've never seen Junkie spin before, let alone listened too many of his tracks, but oh man Ninja you were right, totally insane.
And Mauro, what can I really say, it was way better then I expected. Considering I started getting into EDM from his old Trance Days, he's the one DJ I had to see no matter what. The set being exteneded for more then 2 hours, was like a gift. I was dead for those last 2 hours (I wasn't expecting Junkie to give me such a beating) but man when they dropped Like This Like That, I got a little bit of energy back. :D
And Ninja, I can't thank you enough for what you did that night. I met you only 6 hours before Aria opened, and you hooked me up with the Signature :D :D
I can tell you, when I met up with Steve this morning and I handed him the Chain with my CD, he didn't believe me that I was giving it too him.
Thanks again, easily one of my best nights at Aria everything seemed perfect. |

He played almost double the time he was scheduled for. Amazing. What a class act. What crazy set too. Junkie XL + Louis were awesome as well.
Didnt recognize any TA's except for maybe stereohead in the booth?
Thanks Aria for another crazy night.
Hopefully, the night was a success for the club and we can get many more techno nights in the future. |
