well well well here is my anticipated review of Mauro Picotto and Junkie XL last night at Aria. To begin with i just want to let you all know that this was my first time at Aria and i was not dissappointed one bit! the atmosphere was top notch. the crowd was friendly and outgoing and Aria staff was awesome as well compared to the clubs here in Ottawa lol. now in regards to the DJ's for that night can be described in one word ...AMAZING (with the exception of Junkie XL). Mad props to King Louis for a killer warm up set!. Junkie XL on the other hand was...kinda crappy. i didn't enjoy his set what so ever, i wish i can give u a reason but seems like i cant lol. Mauro Picotto lol the one and only. very nice set i found, it was in bangiN! first time seeing a techno DJ live and i must say im very impressed with live techno! All in all, as an Ottawan travelling to montreal to see this great talent that is a rarity in Ottawa is well worth it and i wont be hesistating to do it again! speaking of again, MARKUS SCHULZ in 2 weeks! progressive trance GOD my friends!!!

J'arrive au aria a 2h30 avec mes 2 party girls! on skip le line up dehors et on dépasse encore tout le monde en dedans car je vois Ninja plus loin dans la file avec une bunch de TA's! I wanted to arrived before but still i'm happy to have heard the end of the set of Louis that was soooooooo good!:D merci d'avoir mis le party dans la place comme tu l'as fait! :crazy: L'ambiance etait vraiment extra.
Nice to meet you again guys and nice to meet some of you for the first time (Sim peurf, Piper, Fast, Azia and DJ Charlie, and maybe one of two others that I'm forgetting the name sorry :sadgreen: )
J'ai vraiment aimé l'endroit ou junkie xl a joué ca fait différent et j'ai apprécié ce qu'il a joué aussi! this guy is so connected with the crowd and give us energy to dance and dance and dance....pas mal tout le monde a eu l'air de tripper!
Place a mauro picotto! nice to dance with the peurfs for a while c'était MALADE then i started to not feel so i sat down for the rest of the set and missed a ing nice show que j'aurais vraiment aimé profiter a fond en plus que c'était le dernier party avant un bout! merci d'avoir été la pour me rassurer... I never felt like that before.
Still i stayed until the end even if i was supposed to left at 8...mais chaque fois que jveux partir tot je pars a la fin. :p
Hope the ones that went to juliu's place had a great afterparty...I tolf you guys i was not coming but when i got home I changed my mind and wanted to come chill with you but I called sick at my job and still they wanted me to work until 9 pm :wtf:
haha c'est trop drole en sortant du aria ma soeur oubliait de quoi elle parlait a chaque 5 secondes... :stongue:
Like i said it was the last party for a while...but we never know

junkie xl was one of the best dj i've seen, soo n sickk, his drops just killed me !!!! mauro was pretty good but i was a bit dissapointed !
louis sorry that i was sleepin during half of your set, i was just too drunk !!
was so cool to see many ppl i know ! ( ninja, nick, anne, erika, dan, lopi, azia, dj charlie, funkenlouis, shawn, taha, piett, mekroon...) and sooo many non TAs.
btw TAG, ur friend sab is such a B*ZN*TCH !!!!
she did the same thing that she did to u, to another dude OMFG SOO N FUNNY HAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHHAAHAAHN !!!!!!!!
the afterparty soo nn funny !!
ps to ninja: i think im gonna be hungry in about 20 minutes !!!!

| i thought Mauro was amazing (i've seen him i think 6 times now) including the stretch where he played lots of minimal stuff. Go check TOTA's reviews of Mauro @ Ultraspin. They thought he sucked. Im shocked after reading those reviews. Anyways, when's Mauro coming back?:p |
