the place quickly filled up, around 3 it was already busy and Louis was throwing the big banging tracks to a crowd that was only asking for that, great opening set. bravo Louis 
then JXL took over on the elevated stage at the enterance of the main room. except for Enjoy the Silence & Breezer, i didn't like what he played that much. i'm a bit disappointed, i was expecting something better (his Ride remix would have made my night if he played it). word on the street says he was using i-tunes :P
i only saw Mauro for 20 minutes, it was nice but the pounding stuff ain't my thing.
great TA turn-out tonight, with a few chokers as expected. it was nice seeing you all and meeting the new ones too :) as i always say, TAs make the party better. big props to each and every single one of you :)
all-nite-freak officially sucks, in' guido didn't show up.
and Enjoy you missed some freebies from Mauro :P he gave us those "Mauro Picotto Meganite Kappa" necklaces. but don't worry, the dj whoring position was extremely well filled by the peurf squad :stongue: |

Holy guys, I just got home... and I am BEAT.
Had a hell of a time last night, Picotto kicked my ass.
It was so nice to meet yous all. Sorry I wasn't able to meet up with yous afterwards, next time perhaps.
And I'm pretty sure the set wasn't recorded, not sure tho. |

Ok my turn now :)
I got to the ARIA at 1h25 and was in the first 30 people to enter. When we arrived (my folks and I) on the dancefloor, Louis was already putting some great songs. It took me some time to be in the mood and dance, but I finally came to dance after few minutes. While I wasn't dancing, I went in the back on the booth to see what was the equipment. By the way Louis, what are the Numark ? It looks like the HDX but I know it isn't. Anyway, it was the first time I heard Louis and I was impressed, as all my friends. You made a very nice warmup set Louis and it's definitivly not the last time I see you ;) Keep it up !
Then Junkie XL got on stage at 3h30...OMG I DIE. I didn't have a clue of what Junkie was playing in Live so I had no ideas of what I would hear. My only regret is that JXL stayed only 2 hours. I found him amazing ! I loved the way he was dancing, interacting with the crowd and singing lol ! His set was amazing IMO and he totally killed me within 2 hours. I was very very impressed by that guy and when he comes back, I'll be back first row to hear him again !
Mauro Picotto got on stage at 5h30 and he played a great set. We only stayed until 7h30, because we don't like techno that much to dance. I mean, I find techno pretty hard to dance so our last half hour we went to the lounge and sat down to listen to Mauro's set. It was very energic, but not my type. I'm more a Trance guy than a Techno guy ! I already knew that I might not enjoy Mauro as much as other DJs such as Christopher Lawrence because I've listened to many of his set on the net, but I wanted to hear him live to see. Mauro did a great job and, from what I can read, he stayed 6 hours (?). We stayed only the 2 first hours than got back our coats and left the ARIA.
Overall that was a wicked night. I had soooo much fun on JXL and Louis ! Thanks Biggy, Louis and ARIA staff for that night :)
As for you guys, I saw Louis (of course), Nick in the booth and NinjaHola. In fact, Ninjahola danced besides me for a while but didn't realize it was him...lol. If you (Ninjahola) remember telling a guy : We should tell this guy that it isn't Mauro but Junkie XL, well that was me. I only realized it while sitting in the lounge. Anyway, was nice seeing you lol ! And I think I saw ~*Stereohead*~ one time in the crowd...not sure about it :conf:
