I go out ALOT, too much even. BUT! Every now and then, a weekend comes along that reminds me of how lucky I am to be alive. The people, the energy, the vibe, the music...I am so blessed that I stayed alive to experience every last bit of it...Here I go...:)
Okay, so Ninja and Hakim were over at Nick's to chill, Lopitrance came last minute too...I went home, got ready, came back to Nick's, realized I forgot my ticket :wtf:, went back home, and finally made it to Aria. What the longest line-up...I spotted Ninja, Francis, Meyo and a few others and basically, about 20 TAs were ushered inside past the line up :) Thanks Ninja :D. Respect...Louis's set was FAKING banging...best one since the night of DJ Dan imo, the crowd LOVED you and rightfully so...then Junkie XL comes on and blows my freakin' ears to hell...WTF Why didn't I know about this God before? Anyways, plus a million for Junkie, watch for him, he's unbelieveable...OMG (That fkn track from the video on his website I posted earlier...DEATH ON THE DANCEFLOOR for me...)

How can I start? He's unbelievable, just insane...an extended 6 hour set? I felt bad for Kal, I spoke to him and was sooo looking forward to his set, one of my favourite Aria resdients BUT!!! Having Mauro for another 3 hrs didn't hurt one bit...especially since I was in the booth with him for those last 3 hours! :crazy: I was in love, NOTHING beats being in that booth for me, Fkn insane!!! To all the peeps who were there with me that night: too many to name I'll try though...Nick, Juan, Sharrah, Ninja, Hakim, Anne, Lopitrance, TylerM, Piett (Julius), Evan, Shannon (my cousin; I made her ADORE Aria a few weeks ago ;)) Fakkkkkkkkk so many others sorry guys! I loved it I loved it I loved it! Mekroon in the booth with Louis pumping us up, and then later on the floor with us dancing his head off to Mauro :) Vermz avec ta tuque LOL...pas de chaleur? Tellement mignon, toujours un plaisir...;) Nick Pilon, aussi toujours un plaisir :) There are so many memorable moments that I'll get yelled at for if I do mention them...LOL...And Julius my man!!! Loved partying with you dude! Remember seeing me with Mauro? "What are you doing up there?"...hehehehe...Really nice to party with people I've never partied at Aria with before. It takes it all to another level for me...so thank you everyone, I really can't wait to see you all again!
Faking Afterparties...MA-LALALA-LAND-DE!!!
Left Aria with my crew, went home with my cousin, showered, went back to Nick's, got to Julius' place eventually after waiting for taxis in the West Island for an hour or so :wtf: ...BAD COUNTRY...Ahhhh, Julius you little music mastermind you! You are a God for spinning a 12 hour set for my ears, that dark proggy electro dirty synth AHHH it makes me go crazy with this powerful feeling!!! Julius, you are so kind, I love you, your friends and your music is the shiznit. I am so fkn lucky to have met someone like you who loves it as much as I do AND who is sweet enough to be willing to teach me. Thank you so much :) 7am Sunday morning, Julius is on his last track of the 12 hour madness. I finally go to sleep. The party is over. Pfffff, Ya ok...
Up and ready Sunday morning, 5 hours after going to sleep...LOL...Nick, Ninja, Hakim and I leave our safe haven and make our way back downtown...Nick and I end up hosting an unexpected NINJA TA PARTY Sunday night at Nick's place...I made a 7pm breakfast and cooked for almost 2 hours for everyone and danced the whole time I was cooking HAHAHAHA...Peeps who were there: Me, Nick, Hakim, Ninja, Anne, my cousin Shannon and her friend Sandie (they had a weekend of their own after Mauro LOL), Juan and Sharrah (mixing at ARIA! at 3pm LOL)...What a way to end a WTFBBQ weekend...and Erika finally collapses at around 1am after watching It's All Gone Pete Tong...

-Julius mixing : WOW...so aggressive, slamming his empty glass down...
-Ninja and I filling his glass with alcohol and juice
-No more juice...Uh oh? Chocolate milk and vodka? Diluted gin? ;)
-Charles and Hakim going to McDonalds in the West Island at midnight (in their state) and bringing food for EVERYONE (who wasn't hungry)
-PFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF...
-Hakim's "review" of the night when it wasn't even over...capital letters, lots of WTFWTFWTF...
-Ninja's extended stay (loved it!)
-Me leaving work Monday afternoon...
-so many moreeeeee...my crew will help me out!
When it comes down to it, I can honestly say that I've never felt so moved by what MUSIC has contributed to my life, and especially what it contributed this particular weekend...It's illegal to have as much fun as we did this weekend and I can't wait for it to happen again! I love you all, more than you guys will ever know! MUAHHHHH!!!
